Earlier today we saw comparison shots of the new Perfect Dark remake for Xbox Live Arcade to the Nintendo 64 original. Makes perfect sense to look back at one of my favorite games on the Xbox 360 which just so happens to be a launch title. It's Perfect Dark Zero.

Wow, those are some high marks. I may have to pick this game up seeing as it's usually in the 7-10$ range. Is multiplayer still populated?

Craziness. PDZ is actually the game I hated more than any other I've owned on the 360. In fact the only other game that I think I despised as much was Far Cry, which I rented.
Couldn't stand the graphics, the aiming, the story, the weapons. Really thought it was a lousy, lousy game. I just listed my limited edition copy on craigslist for $15.
I suppose it just points out how subjective videogame reviews can be!

This one seems more love or hate.
I agree with you about the plastic-like characters and horrible story, but I enjoyed most of everything else.
Are you interested in the XBLA remake of the N64 game?
Can't wait for the XBLA Perfect Dark, but I give Zero a 5 or 6 out of 10.

This game was a guilty pleasure for me. Lots of people hated it because of its awful story and weird graphics but I thought it was actually a fun game once you get past that.

I thogut that Perfect Ddark Zero was a great launch title. It showed off the power of the 360, because it is a good looking game. I also liked the aiming, and weapons. With all of that said, it was a great game. The biggest tarnish is the story. WTF, sums it up well. It barely makes sense, and I didn't even want to watch the cut scenes by the end. If it had a great story, it would have been a really great launch title. The story only makes it a great launch title.
Kameo is better, in my opinion. I do not know why Kameo gets all sort of hate- it is a fantastic game.
Perfect Dark Zero's multiplayer is actually very fun but the single player is another story.

It definitely doesn't hold a candle to the original, but the multiplayer is one of my favorites this gen. It's terrific.

For a launch title I really liked it. The multiplayer held me over until GRAW came out.
I wouldn't touch it now, though.
