using a guitar hero world tour guitar in rock band 2? (ps3)

I'm debating between buying a rock band 2 wireless guitar or buying the guitar hero world tour guitar kit (to play bass).

Have any of you used a guitar hero world tour guitar in rock band 2?

Is it better to buy a rock band 2 wireless guitar instead?

FYI, for a second guitar, I went with the Rock Band 2 guitar over the guitar hero world tour guitar kit because:
1) I did not want the strum bar to make noise
2) The placement of the buttons was more appealing on the RB2 guitar

It's really a preference thing. However, to answer your question either guitar works on both games.

The only thing you will lose is the ability to tap out solos, so a GHWT guitar is a good alternative for Bass.
