How do you plan on connecting them? Do you plan on using the TV as your monitor? Are you trying to watch media on your TV, or have a TV tuner on your PC?

Here's an idea, save some of that money and spend it on a typing class

J/k, but it would help if you told us how much you are planning to spend.

i got all the major systems xbox ps2 gamecube.

You need a MAME box. I built one using a small form factor case and cheap AMD Duron with Geforce2 mx. Nothing beats having access to the complete library of Vampire Savior/Street Fighter/King of Fighters/Mortal Kombat when you have friends over.

just make sure the TV you buy has inputs to match the tv-out on your video card. ie if you have s-video out on your video card, make sure the tv you buy has s-video in. Brand shouldn't matter.

Well, do you want Plasma, LCD, RPTV? I would go Widescreen and as BIG as you can fit. You can get anything for that price.

Sony would be a 3rd or 4th choice. Pioneer makes GREAT TV's...Mitsubishi have agood reputations (also have a new DLP TV)

You didn't really say what you are looking for.

You can get a good surround system too. Harmon Kardon and the Sony ES series have good receivers. I would get a 6.1 or 7.1 setup too. Chcek out www.onecall.com great service

Sony sucks. Go to a real audio store that sells quality equipment.
