Not going to buy it because no Wii Motion Plus support.
Decent price considering Mario games almost never go on sale.

It came out before Motion Plus. How is that a valid argument?
Here's one:
The game doesn't play well.

It's valid argument because I don't want to play a poorly controlled tennis game with mario characters.

There are 2 tennis games out now that do have Motion+, so if one wants a tennis game with Motion+, one's money might be better spent on those. How is it not a valid argument?

People skip this one. I made the mistake of buying it and it is horrible. I own the gc version and enjoyed it much more. My wife hated this one it controls really poorly.

Are there any other options for control (such as GameCube or Classic controller)? Or are you stuck with the "new play control"?

Wiimote/Nunchuck controls only.

Wiimote/Nunchuck controls only.
Why would they possibly do that? Not even give you the option of playing with Gamecube controller?

It is really quite baffling isn't it? My understanding is they are doing the same for the Metrod trilogy. I would have double-dipped (already have all three titles) to have the set and the ability to play the first two titles widescreen, but not when they are removing already existing control options.

I'll skip this one.
You kind of have to, it was yesterday's deal.
