You can add The Club to this and it comes to $25.73, which qualifies you for FSSS.

Graphics are a but dated but it is a solid FPS with a 2 player co-op mode. Too many shooters and other type of a games these days lack a single screen co-op mode.
The single player campaign is much better then the Resistance 2 single player campaign. Heck the single player campaign in Resistance Retribution puts R2's single player mode to shame.
Worth the $15.
I picked this up at GS back when it was $15 ...I beat it and have no desire in playing through the SP again, but I think it's worth $15. It's a very average, by-the-books, shooter and it can be fun at times, but overall I just found it rather generic. ...I also don't understand how anyone could have ever compared this game with Gears 1 graphically...Gears 1 blows this game out of the water in that department (and most other departments as well).

can anyone recommend and other good games at deal price to add to this to make 25 dollars for free shipping? Can be PS3, 360, PSP, Wii, or DS.

the best launch title for ps3. brings back memories of me firing up the brand new console. nothing else like it. for 15$ you cant go wrong, was an above average game.

I thought the first resistance (and it's online multiplayer) was far far better than Resistance 2.

great game.. better than Resistance II, even though the graphics are not as good and kinda dated at this point. The worst thing, not that Resistance II was bad, but they got rid of the narration style they had in the R1 game, and it sucked. I haven't even finished Resistance II, it got kinda boring for me towards the end. Killzone2 was a better game than Resistance 2.

That's what I keep hearing, which is why I haven't picked up Resistance 2. Otherwise I would have bought it the day after I finished this.
IMO Resistance 1 is WAY above average among straight FPS. Though give it a chance, because at first I didn't think it was any better than like Call of Duty (which IMO is below par for FPS). I've written a lot about this game when I first finished it, but anyway it's really good if you like single player FPS.
Among many other great things it's one of the few remaining games that actually lets you use more than two weapons. (I *HATE* that, and apparently they ruined that in Resistance 2.)
I kind of disagree about the graphics thing though. It's not the absolute best looking game of all time, but it's above average and at worst looks good, and at best looks amazing.

This is great I'm looking for deals on Xbox 360 Platinum Hits, PS3 Greatest Hits and PSP Greatest Hits. Thanks OP in for one.
This game is totally worth $15.
As for R2 vs. R1:
R1 = good Halo clone
R2 = bad Call of Duty clone

I've only played Halo 1 because I coudln't stand it and didn't play the sequels, but Resistance 1 seems way way better to me, like absolute top of the line FPS. It does have parts that feel like Call of Duty, but better, and thankfully the whole game isn't like that (plus even when it is like that, there's an actual plot, etc.)

Dang I just picked this up at Fry's last week for $19.72 (everyday price). Between that and the Target deal I need to chill for a while. I can only play the fathers day card so many times. =)

Got this last year at Amazon for the same price during Black Friday. At $15 it's worth it. Co-op was fun, even though we were both out ammo the whole time, and we were a bit bored of it by the end. One thing that annoyed me about it was that the coolest weapons are only available once you've already beaten the game. What the hell?

Yes there are. Apparently I'm one of the few who feel Resistance 2 online is superior.

as a 360 owner I'm envious of the PS3 Greatest Hits packaging.
Don't really have $0.02 to add since I never played the first one, but Resistance 2 was fun to beat.

From my experience playing this with a friend...Stay far away.
I've played a good amount of shooters in my gaming-life, and this one was one of the more plain and boring shooters. After about 5-6 levels in, I was bored to tears. However, $15 is a good price, I paid the same with a B2G1 at GS. But I would suggest a rental if you're unsure of the game, that is if you can rent the game for less than $5.
Whatever, my 2 cents :)
As an added notation, Resistance 1's online multiplayer is like a dumbed-down, boring and bland version of Quake. It's that bad.

Yikes, that's the TOTAL opposite of what I thought about it. IMO of modern shooters you've got like:
Call of Duty, Halo < Gears of War, Prey, Haze, Doom, F.E.A.R., etc. < Resistance 1 And probably I'll end up putting Half Life 2 above that once I get around to playing it. Bioshock's better still of course, but it's not a straight shooter.

it comes with a greatest hit sticker on the shrink wrap and the container is not red. but it has the 9.5/10 5/5 review scores on the cover... is this greatest hit package?

No, the Greatest Hits packaging is red rather than clear, and says greatest hits on it. It's kind of neat looking.
