In this week EBGames newsletter a B2G1 promotion is mentionned for all used games for this weekend only. I believe this should be valid in Canada as well, though there's a bit of YMMV.
Usually in my area they apply those.
If you have been able to use these promotion, let me know.

They're stealing Microplay's idea! Microplay had these Buy 2 Get One Free and Buy One Get the Second Half Off deals long ago.
Nothing I really want but I should take a look-see for Wii games that I missed.
Ok i dont know whats up but i have called Gamestop and ask about this deal and say they dont have one....then i call EBGames and the guy said they NEVER had such a deal? WTF? just great

not sure what a microplay is, but im pretty sure GS have been doing B2G1 for a long ass time now, and its not like this is exactly the first time they have ever ran one of these, lol. Not to mention all of these promotions have been everywhere for awhile including Gamecrazy and so on, but then again I'm not sure how many GS/EB or Gamecrazy you actually have in Canada, but trust me, its not like Microplay invented any of this, nor did they invent this "idea", lol.

It's a US deal, it's on quite a bit down there. The op got a Gamestop email which doesn't apply up here, although it's hard to tell that detail when looking over the email...
To spell it out clearly, this deal is NOT on in Canada.

Thats weird, the actual ad on the site doesn't say anything about it being US only. The online flyer say that the deals in it are US only, but the B2G1 is a seperate deal and on a seperate page with no mention or area restrictions. Is their any chance that it just wasn't in the system or in that area? I know their isn't much chance of having it so soon after the last sale, but their still could be.

Notice how that ad is on gamestop.com, the American parent site. Canadian deals are posted over on ebgames.ca. The lack of an exclusion doesn't mean the deal is suddenly somehow live for Canada. We're simply beneath their notice, that's all.

But yet their game days sale and such was advertised on the american site, but also applied to Canada. Besides, their isn't any phyiscal evidence that it doesn't apply to canada, some stores are horrible for going through with promotions, so a location by location report isn't always acurate. As i said, I'm not banking on it being in canada, it just would be nice for some valid confrimation on if it is or isn't available.

Deal is live in the U.S. and I doubt it's in canada.
Managed to pick up 3 copies of call of duty: world at war for $66 tax in at a gamestop in Michigan. The cost was split between me and two buddies so $22 for cod:waw is pretty awesome.

Dude, this isn't some matter for debate. Gamestop.com listings DO NOT apply to us. This is a fact. Our Game Days sale was not the same sale as the one in the USA. Certainly they were named the same and happened at the same time, but the contents and pricing on them were entirely different.

If you're close to a Microplay, go to 1. They have this deal going on a lot more often.
I was at 1 last night and they had the Buy 2 get 1 free. It might vary from MP to MP though.

I see, what is misleading to me is that the link in the email pointing to the store locator for the promotion also includes Canada listing.
I used to get Canada EBGames email, but now it seems all we get is US promotion that never applies. What happened to the old newsletter...?
