Wish List-Used Prices

In my wish list, the lowest prices are new prices(as is default).
I would like to know if there is any way to change the lowest prices to used prices.

I'm not really sure what the wish list does. I didn't find any documentation anywhere.

I'm GUESSING it alerts you when a game goes on sale or something? Still, I'd appreciate an official answer on what it's role is.
