Hello all,
I am looking for a joystick for the original xbox. My plan is to make this as cheaply as possible.
I want to use the xbox to be a MAME cabinet and I need some controllers. Preferably 2 of them and cheap, quite cheap.

I was toying with the idea of building the controllers myself but I would rather just buy them.

I saw the x-arcade set up and it is damn sweet but damn expensive too....
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks :)

My suggestion would be to build the controllers yourself. I've had nothing but bad experiences with cheap arcade sticks.

That may be what it comes down to.
This is more of a pet project anyway so that might be nice to have them custom fit to the cabinet I want to make instead of just a shelf with the joy-pads sitting on them....

You can still get an Xbox adapter for the X-Arcade stick and you'll have the added benefit if being able to buy adapters for your other systems as well (except the 360, stupid MS locked down system.)
