Holy lord, thats amazing. I think I'd rather save the $350 and pick up the greatest hits version from blockbuster.

Did you sell your soul to  for higher eBay profits?

LOL sweet ass shit dude!!! Good Job, but why do people pay that much for a sealed game lol.

Wow, how much were you hoping for, OP? Surely, not $300+? That's nuts. That's more than a sealed Panzer Dragoon Saga. I can't believe someone paid that much for a non-prototype, general release game.

Yowza. I've never seen a sealed SOTN go higher than $150. Some people have some seriously expendable income it seems. Glad to hear the buyer was legit and paid. I would've been terrified seeing that number, thinking that it was a fake bid.

Dracula X would often go for a much higher price than that close to 500 opened several years ago, before it was successfully ripped. SOTN has been fluxing in price.. I missed several mint non gh versions that went for 20, but then somtimes you see the GH version go for much more.

The highest is always the NWC cartridge, although you rarely ever see one on there.

Wow that is amazing!
Quick question as well, is the GH version of the SOTN disc different from the Original version of the disc? I know someone selling the disc and want to know if it can be determined original or not.

jimmyTphantom
09-28-2004, 10:59 AM
The only diffrence is the ugly green label down the front and the disc is a diffrent color! I have a GH if your interested?

thanks but I a friend of mine no longer wants it, and actually I was wondering if the actual CD is different between versions not the Packaging itself - but maybe you answered it.

Dude, you should do that second chance offer thing if you other copies and get several more hundred from the people that bid extremely high but still lost.

No, the highest would be Kizuna Encounter for the AES...The NWC cartridge can't even touch it in price.

BTW...Nice job to the OP on that auction...Not many games, especially those that aren't rare, get that high in price.

I've never had anyone take me up on a 2nd chance offer :( Does that work for other people? When I do it I'll try to send the offer within an hour or two of the auction closing (fresh) and usually make it for one day.

ooo my god i was at the nintendo world championships that year in PA i had no idea there was a cartridge. Those 3 games are what everyone was playing up on the big screen tv. Was an incredible site. I bet not many other cagers attended one of these. I wonder if i was able to get a cart while i was at the show. dammmmm. now i need this cart to make me being there more special.

Anyone know the higest a game has ever gone on ebay? quote]

The highest I've seen a cartidge go for was just over $10,000. It was the European version of Kizuna Encounter for the Neo Geo. It wasn't even factory sealed - in fact, it wasn't even in mint condition - it had a few minor scuffs and other imperfections. It was so valuable because it is supposedly one of only about five in the world. Still, that's an awful lot! Especially for a mediocre fighter!

the smartest thing thta you can with the other sealed copies that you are trying to ebay off is to second chance offer it to the second highest bidder....that way you'll at least get that $350

Theenternal
09-28-2004, 02:07 PM
Yea the neo games are pretty pricey, as most of the rare non neo games are chump change compared to them...right now im trying so set up a mvs(the cheap version) setup in my cab...

I knew I got a good deal on a non-GH copy I got a few years ago for $20, but this makes it look great. Too bad it's not sealed anymore...
