Note: I didn't like Street Fighter IV at all.
I still have a copy unopened from that Best Buy sale from long ago, and I don't know if I should keep it or sell it off for profit.
What do you guys think? Thanks!

I say sell it for profit. It's a decent game but it's a very "stiff" fighter. Very little fluid motion in it. The only cheap fighter I'd suggest keeping even without Trophies is Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm.

It's a great choice for non-fighting fans (like me). The moves are easy to pull off and they look cool. In fact, you can mash buttons and do well in the game all the while feel great satisfaction in how you're playing. You can take the time to learn the moves as well, but it's definitely a great game to start with.

you need a dead or alive game those are pretty friendly to button mashers.

I would say so. The moves are not at all complicated to pull off. You don't need precise timing, and there are no quarter circles, half circles, charge back or anything like that.
90% of the moves are a direction and a button (or two buttons) together. Very easy to learn any character, but the gameplay is deep enough to get into much further if you are interested, but also simple enough to do well without learning all the intricacies.

I would say yes as well. Plenty of replay value as well. Customizing your characters is a break from the action as well.

I agree with Devil May Cry. Unfortunately, I bought the game on day 1. While I enjoyed it at first, it got tiring after a week.

Nope. I stopped playing within 5 minutes in training mode. Boring game, right next to virtua fighter.

lol. Yes, I'd say it is much more approachable. Don't know why you wouldn't like Street Fighter IV though...

There are only a few things in the game that are hard to do:
- Get the Apprentice (with Vader, anyways)
- Tower of Lost Souls (and its' basement)
- Getting everything for customization

Soul Calibur 1 and 2 were awesome for non-fighting game players. You could pull off awesome looking moves just by mashing buttons. IV was a lot tougher though. You had to learn the moves.
Tekken is king I think.
