I am doing multiple trade ins and don't think this will be a problem. The second account having a different billing address makes all the difference. It falls within their terms page. Limit one discount per household. They shouldn't be able to control who you want to "gift" the second item to.

Hmmm I was noticing that Amazon's trade-in DOTD was Obscure for the PS2, and couldn't believe it was so high. I've had a sealed copy sitting on my shelf for years and decided to check Ebay/Amazon to see if it was worth anything... is this truly a $250+ game if its sealed? lol, I really had no clue ;)

You just have to electronically submit your trade-ins by that deadline. Then you have to mail it by next Friday (the 24th). Whenever they get it then is up to the shipping. So you've got some time - just make sure to complete the electronic submission by end of today.

How nice of the Springfield, MA sorting facility to process it twice! (It had shown after the 9th that it was out for delivery - apparently it came back and then went out again for some reason :roll:).

I still haven't gotten credit but now I know they have them at least. I'm surprised the DC updated that soon, as it is only 10:30 AM here on the West Coast. Usually it takes till late afternoon to update. Now, last time I got my credit by about 2pm the same day they received them so we'll see what happens. This one is critical because if I don't get the full $50 I need to make another submission for the coupon!

I'm sending in two more trades today, but neither it over $50. One I locked in a full 8 days ago (late Sunday night last week) and today is the deadline to mail it. The other was a copy of My Fitness Coach I grabbed at GS and locked in when it was the trade-in deal of the day. Tomorrow being the 18th, yes. But that would be your last day to submit your trade-ins to amazon for the promotion. Then just make sure to get them to the post office BEFORE the 25th. Or by the 25th...whatever, just get them in early that way you don't have to worry about it =)

Take a look at page 50 of this thread. If you have some GS credit (or cash of course) some games with the B2G1 are just transferring that credit/cash to amazon and getting the 50% promo to boot. Even if you lose a couple bucks on the flip if you're getting a big ticket item ( like say DJ Hero) the 50% coupon is worth it heck even for a normal game a small loss isn't that bad.

It's not a ripoff. It's a much better deal than a fighting stick, for example compare the size and materials. It allows for a real racing setup as well as no problems keeping wheel and pedals in place. It's just something that doesn't appeal to you.

Well, I dialed this number: 1-866-216-1072 and began talking with a customer rep. I explained the problem that neither of the codes worked on the Logitech G25. I had to give the codes in question (letters, numbers, dashes and what not). The rep in turn sent word of this problem with the codes and item in question to the Marketing dept. I believe this was all because the Marketing dept. most likely closed for the weekend (I called around the afternoon PST). Then I bid adieu to the rep, they were pretty cooperative throughout the whole situation.

I got the same response except they said they will call me back within 48 hours. Hopefully, they will see this is a mistake on their end. Keep us posted with any updates.
Will do, though I'm having my doubts. Can't believe they would exclude the G25 since it is indeed an accessory and sold by Amazon. I hope they straighten this out. I'm crossing my fingers.

Yeah, I'm confused by this as well. I originally assumed it would end after Saturday but the site says submit trades BEFORE the 18th. *sigh*

FYI for those who havent locked in your trades yet. Some prices have droped in the last 30min - 1hr. 2 I have seen are NBA 2K9(PS3) and Mirror's Edge(360), both dropped from $13 and $12 respectively down to $7. That happened while I was trying to make up my mind if I needed to do this deal for the Turtle Beach X4s or not. This drop totally kills any idea I had of doing it. Also Fallout 3(360) dropped down to $24 and Rock Band(360) fell to $4.25. Just thought I would give a heads up to the procrastinators like myself. Now I wish I had just submitted my order while I thought about it. Oh well maybe the X5 will come out and drop the proce of the X4, yeah right.

its all personal preference. I say they are different but equal.


I have extensive experience with both and definitely prefer Seimitsu buttons. They spring back right away and have a satisfying click when i tap the button.

I am however torn on the stick. Kinda leaning towards seimitsu again lately....especially on fighters that require double taps for dashing. The throw and neutral zone is shorter on the seimitsu. The spring is also harder which means it returns back to the neutral position faster...makes me feel like i can react faster. Another thing to keep in mind is that the Seimitsu is the hands down favorite in japan for shoot-em-ups.

360 dropped to $7 from $11.50

Any tips on what to get here? A stick available now for the 360 or the Tekken bundle?

its all personal preference. I say they are different but equal.
Thanks for the explanation. I think I may go with the Semitsu Hori because I also enjoy the quick spring back on the buttons and stick. I guess they can always be modded. Hopefully the Hori stick has a good weight to it.

Japakneez' explanation was perfect. I prefer Seimitsu parts, myself. Besides the different feel, they are available in way more colors (some very beautiful).

The Hori EX-SE stick and the TE stick have some other key differences.
Button layout: I much prefer the TE's layout, which is also the official SF4/Viewlix layout.
Appearance: most Hori sticks are ugly. The art and shape of the stick housing is inferior to the TE stick's design.
PCB: The TE stick's PCB is common ground so it's easy to dual mod it to work with PS3 & other systems as well. The regular Hori EX PCB is not common ground, so don't expect the EX-SE to be.

For those reasons I feel that the TE is worth the extra $10 price. Still, they're both great sticks.

Wow, there were lots of drops. And this just after the prices were stable for several days. I had locked in a few sets of trades but I'll have to figure it all out (I may not have enough for some of them but I really need to unload those PoPs!).

I was really hoping to hold off on regular trades until the new promo starts up this weekend. But now I may have to send them in anyway unless the new promo (if there even is one) is awesome enough to make up for the drops.

Not everything dropped though - a few things I was considering trading have held. I'm not saying what they are in case there are NorAm snoops here though ;).

Now I have a few questions. If you edit a trade that is already submitted (but not mailed in yet, obviously) can you simply delete items off of it while still retaining the older trade-in values for the ones you didn't delete? I thought someone said this was possible. What if you add one to something already there? I have two options since I submitted 2 nearly identical trades. I could bump up the quantities on one of them to get rid of all the things I have 2 of that have dropped (like PoP, Mirror's Edge, etc) or I could just submit the two trades but eliminate the duplicates (where I don't have more than 1 copy) between them. So in one case I'm deleting games from the trades (probably safer) and in the other I'm bumping quantities from 1 to 2 on things that have dropped (probably riskier). I'd rather do the second option so I only have to mail one set in, but I would have to be sure that worked first!

I'll go ahead and try the deletion thing if no one has an answer but I figure someone out there must have done either or both of these things at some point.

The fine print says one per address. So I'd assume it wont work.

it says that they have to include the cover art and manual, so that might not work. If it does I might try to trade a few extra games I picked up for cags that dont want them

Also I realized you can edit the number of copies of games in your order. I decided to keep a mirror's edge and entered 1 instead of 2 and it worked fine. I guess I gotta print a new shipping label though.

Also wanted to add a mlb 2k9, I got 2. Intended to keep one but that game was pure rubbish and updated my order to 2 copies since my order was made before it dropped.

I have the generic cover art from HWV and the original manual, but the back of the cover is all writing and it says Hollywood Inc. at the very bottom. I also threw in an extra game in case my HWV game gets rejected. As long as the others aren't rejected im good :)

yeah, it says

not be damaged, include original packaging (e.g. the manual, cover art, and case)

so it'll probably get rejected, but as long as you got $50 in other stuff thats great.

Ugh, now I gotta go out and find 2 more mirror's edge and NBA 2k9, or else I wont be able to delete 2 games I want to keep from my order. Well...want to keep if I can get 3 more games to cover them for $36ish in credit.

I did it about an hour ago.I updates it and it went from $12 to $24 total, so the price your quoted at is locked when you submit the first time.

So it needs to be postmarked by today, the 18th. I thought you just had to have a submission before midnight on july 18.
