I was a little concerned about that as well, but there's no mention in the terms of service. I ended up trading in Boom Blox Bash Party games through Gamestop where the price was the same so I guess the worst case scenario is that I just wasted some time. I'm pretty sure these will go through though.

I read it as first time in this promotional period. There is language in the terms of service suggesting that, but nothing saying this has to be the first trade you've ever done.

Sorry to rain on the parade of the people who wanted the G25 driving wheel, but I don't think it's going to work on that or the gaming seats. If you try to use the ECA discount (which applies to games and accessories), it doesn't work on those items. It works on Rock Band Beatles, ION Drums, Wii Fit, etc., but those don't appear to work. I would guess the rules would be the same on the two deals since they are both on games accessories. They might have the G25 classified as something else to keep it out of these deals.

I will admit that I had traded in 6 copies of Wii's Safecracker for $22 each, and then I just sent another 8 copies when the value held and I saw that it all worked. Of course after that 14th copy was submitted, now they no longer offer $22 for Safecracker, instead $6. I was surprised that no one else caught it, or if anyone did they were just as quiet as I was.

The 8 I just sent in this week should qualify for this new promo, so I guess I can get my 360 Wireless Adapter @ 50% off, which is a nice deal.

They're reasonably cheap there (I think it was somewhere around $2.50 for a 10"x10"x10" box, which was big enough to hold the games and lots of packing material). Shipped it using their "postage due" media mail shipping, with delivery confirmation and insurance added. Got to them no problem in a couple of days, and got credit a day after that.

I wouldn't see any reason that you couldn't use an Amazon box if you've got one sitting around. They should be happy that you're recycling! If you're really concerned, just do something to cover up the Amazon logos.

Yeah I'm reusing an old NewEgg box. I've got a stack of boxes just sitting around the back room that I almost threw out the other day. Good thing I didn't. Saves me a few bucks on packing materials.

The Box that I'm using first doesn't have any markings on it, so I'm good to go. If I use any of the others though, I'll have to black out or cover up the Amazon or NewEgg markings. As long as I remove the old mailing label, it probably doesn't matter, but better safe than sorry.

I did just that when I sent in my set for the $75 coupon. I added DC to it for 80 cents. I mailed it on Friday and now the delivery confirmation info says it was processed in one of their big (nearby) media mail hubs. Unfortunately that means it hasn't gotten any closer to MA - in fact I think it is a bit further ;).

For packing material I just used the plastic bag cushion thingies that Amazon used when sending me something. Of course, I always keep all that stuff so I had it handy. And yeah, just tape the label on top of the old one (or better yet remove the old one first to be safe). Make sure you tape it down pretty thoroughly with clear packing tape.

1) they don't care if they're open, they'll probably have to open them anyway
2) you can make sure that the disc is in there. I've bought brand new stuff before and somehow, the disc inside was an AOL disc... I had a hell of a time convincing Target that I wasn't the one who did the swap.

Yeah, I heard about a few incidents people claiming to have mailed in games in perfect working order that were rejected because they where mishandled somewhere along the way. I even heard one guy claim that a multi-disc game that he sent in that was completely intact got denied because it was missing a disc. When they mailed it back to him and he checked it out, one of the discs was indeed missing. The implication being that somebody on the other end had swiped the disc. Or at least, that’s what he claims happened. Who knows if he was telling the truth though. He could’ve been pissed that they denied a game and he wanted to exact a little revenge.

Whatever the case, like you, I decided to take a few pictures before I sent my shipment in. In all likelihood, I’ll never need to prove that my games were complete and in good condition, but it’s good to know that I can prove it if I have to.

To those looking to send in a few games sometime soon, I recommend that you take two minutes of your time to snap a few pics, as well.

The trade value doesn't change once you've locked it in. It's only a matter of whether they'll accept it or not. And from the previous Amazone trade-in deal, I think they accepted cartridges without boxes and manuals (older gen games).

Yea I got screwed on 2 Amazon price drops as well but oh well most everything I bought held... I Hit multiple Blockbusters acquiring games to trade in torwards new copies of Fight Night Round 4. So whatever games I needed to round out b1g1f I was getting higher Amazon TIV games.

I think the early lists should be scrapped since Amazon TIVs fluctuate so much. A lot of the games on the list I made aren't good flips anymore.

Well, I'll give this a shot. I'm submitting two Left 4 Deads and a FIFA '09, all purchased at Target for 75% off, so my profit on the trade-in will be around $20.

I'd love to score a SFIV TE Stick for half off before the coupon expires, but I'm not sure that Amazon will have it in stock again soon. If not, I'll either go for the new Batman game or Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

OK. I'm confused. One of Amazon's trade-in help pages mentions having to have the manual with the trade-in. But then the page you print out confriming everything says to "include the case and cover art". So can someone please clarify, do you need to send in a manual???

This makes a huge difference in the BB trades (since many don't have the manual) and I don't want to waste my time sending in something that will be rejected.

Biggest loss was Ferrari Challenge for PS3 from $11 to $5 now. :(

No I am getting Rock band Beatles bundle and DJ Hero, I am using mine and my moms account and having DJ Hero sent to her work and rock band Beatles sent to my school. The way i see it retail that would be 370. No way I would get 370bucks for the used games I have now. Probably get the Modern Warfare 2 collectors edition since I already have Ear Force headphones and Rock Band. The rest will go towards a PS3.

Well a whirlwind Blockbuster gamstop run has netted me 2:PS3: GTA: IV a Mario and Sonic Olymics, and a De Blob to trade in. Then I've got :PS3PMercenaries 2, :PS3:Mirrors Edge, and :DS:Mario vs Donkey Kong to keep and a Gitaroo Man for a friend.

The Mario Vs Sonic wan't complete so I had to ask for a white case at BBV and an instruction manual at Gamestop. I kinda doubt I'll get around the Mercs 2 with Blazblue coming but I'll at least hold onto it till a good sale to dump it comes along.

Has anyone recieved thier 50% off code yet?
Edit: Also is that map essential for GTA IV?
