I was planning to buy an SD Card to transfer my VC games to and I'm not sure which one to buy. I have about 20 VC games right now, and by the time the Wii's lifetime is over, I imagine I'd have a bit over 100 games. So what is the perfect size?

Also, are there any advantages in using Micro/Mini SD cards? How about SDHC, I heard they were faster, but does it really make a difference?

This is what I'm looking to buy at the moment: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-SDSDH-2048-901-Secure-Digital-Package/dp/B00065ANYC/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1246206852&sr=1-6. Can somebody also explain the difference between normal SD Cards and Ultra SD Cards?

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11042720 I picked this one up at Wal-Mart when I got my Wii. It takes a lot of games to fill it up its roughly 16,000 blocks if I remember correctly. Ive downloaded quite a few guitar hero tracks and some VC games and still have around 9500 blocks left.

I would not get an Ultra. For the Wii, it is pointless. For a digital camera, it has more of a function.

Also, 2 gigs is probably enough- but if you wanted to be safe, a 4 gig is really cheap as well. A 4 gig is a SDHC card.

For the best compatibility, you should get at most a 2 GB card. From what I read, even though the SDHC support was added in the 4.0 system update, you might not be able to access the card in games like Rock Band 2 DLC since they can't be patched to support the SDHC cards.

I'm not sure why you say that an Ultra card isn't of value. I switched from a slower card to a faster card and it made a noticeable difference in both read and write times. It's possible that my old card was just especially slow, but I don't know. Why wouldn't a faster card make a difference?
