Uh, there are several things different about this deal, Scorch. For one the EA thing has already started. Secondly this one includes non-sports game. Thirdly, doesn't look like you'll have to mail away to EA to get your free game, I assume EB is going to give you the free one right then.

This could be sweet coupled with the EA deal. (Unless EB is working with EA to offer this variant of the BOGO deal with no waiting and it somehow won't work for both.)

What strikes me as odd is that the deal starts on a Wednesday. B&M deals usually start on Mondays.

I'm still waiting for proof, though. 10/27 is the same day as the TRU B2G1, if that's even the confirmed date.

I don't know what to make of this. If it is indeed correct and you get the third game right then and there, great.

Well I'm inclined to agree with Scorch seeing as how Starmask isn't really giving us much evidence to go on here other than his word, which (and take no offense here) is poorly typed and makes little sense. Also why would EB run their own promotion during EA's promotion and say it's only for new games, when they make a hell of a lot more money of used games. They also stand to make much more money by giving out the free game via a rebate, because a solid amount of people actually don't send in rebates. Sorry but it just doesn't make much sense to me.
