Just don't do it. Shipping overseas gives you a high chance of being scammed.

What is the problem? If you want to ship it to Africa tell them it is okay to bid, if you don't write back and say you don't want to ship to Africa.

While that is true, as long as they pay with paypal, and you have the money first, why not. Just transfer that money out of your account as soon as you get it. Which is something you should be doing anyway.

Think of the highest amount you want for this item, tack on shipping, email that figure to him. Tell him if he wants it at that price, it is his and pull the plug on the auction if he accepts. Have him paypal the funds, xfer them to your bank and make sure they are actually there. Then mail him the item.
If he doesn't want to do that, tell him that you are not interested.

Tell him to send you diamonds, well-hidden in a plain white envelope

Don't count on getting any legit money though. Seems as if anything out of Africa is a scam, particularly Nigeria or South Africa.

It's a Trap!
Will PayPal take money out of your linked account if there is a chargeback and your account doesn't have the money in to cover it? I've heard of people having to close their bank account or instruct their bank that transfers to/from PayPal are no longer authorized because of this.

THIS IS A SCAM. They want to try and sell it in their store right? Ignore and move on or you will be out money.
