Farscape Complete Series DVD megaset coming in November.

Ran into this on the SciFiWire.com website, mentioning that there's a complete series megabox coming in November for Farscape:

No mention about it coming with Peacekeeper Wars, though it seems to be all four seasons plus the usual extras. It's for the 10th Anniversary of the show.

There should be more about it at San Diego Comic Con, from what the article says, so we should know more in a month or so.

I know I've been waiting on this for a very very very long time, and I'm glad it's finally coming out. Only reason I have the Season 1 box I do was from a BB.com screw-up, and the previous seasons sets border on ridiculously expensive.

Aw, you got me all excited thinking it was going to be on Blu-ray...I wonder if the show was popular enough to justify the cost of remastering and releasing on Blu-ray eventually?

finally, i have only seen a few episodes on SciFi years ago, and have since wanted to watch the entire show. but the dvd prices are bs, and netflix doesn't have all of the seasons.

on a side note what do you guys think of andromeda, i was thinking of giving that show a try

As much as I'd like to think it would come on BR, I don't think the expense would be there for it, since SciFi canned it due to cost. I know I'd buy it on BR if available.

I'm tempted to sell my S1 set, once details of the box set come to light and it has an order date/info somewhere.

I paid about 45 per season for the Starburst sets from Deep Discount a while back. Hoping for a Blu-ray realese eventually as well but these should work fine for the time being, even if that means forever.

End result, the show, which started as an ensemble, quickly turned into "Hercules...in Spaaaace!" only without any of the wit of Hercules.

lol, i have season 1, 2 and 4 sets and a Australian Season 2 set i imported because i won it for $30. I'll have to look into selling my old ones and snagging the megaset when more details arise.

I bought all 4 seasons as the individual volumes were released (I don't wanna even think how much that cost me)...takes up half a shelf . Might buy this just to save space!

Only need season 4, non-starburst edition, and somebody is selling me one for $55 shipped and i can't complain at that price. Great show, too bad it got cancelled. I too hope it'll be released on blu someday.

Yeah, I ordered this from amazon for $105 as soon as I saw it. As for Andromeda, I quite enjoyed it, but I like Kevin Sorbo and might be biased by the fact that I worship Forever Knight. Not even my blind love of Nigel Bennett and the fact that there is a very real chance that he is the greatest english speaking actor to ever live can make Lexx worth watching. God that show sucked.

And, uh, in...store...kiosk...? I didn't know BB had kiosks? Maybe I'm not understanding something...

preordered this yesterday from amazon.... odd thing is I got the code for $5 Video on Demand from amazon emailed to me yesterday from the preorder... very unusual to get this before it's shipped.
