I was at Target and noticed they had dropped the price on that to 29.99. I don't know if thats common knowledge yet or not, but thought I would throw that out there for anyone looking for this game.

Thanks a lot for the info, I've been looking to get ESPN Basketball for about $30. Hopefully it's a permanent price drop so I could get it later (I'll be getting MVP Baseball 2004 first).

Thanks...that's a good price. Now if only that could be price matched with GGC...

im crossing my fingers that you are right. i hope they have it cuz ive been waiting for a long time for this or nba live 2004 to drop from 49.99. by the way which version is better? is the graphics not a big difference on the ps2 and xbox.

I don't think there's much of a discrepancy in graphics, or anything for that matter. Both have online play I believe. It all comes down to personal preference.

Good deal. I bought this and NBA Live 2004 when it first came out and I honestly like ESPN Basketball more.

ESPN NBA Basketball is great

i think the only thing lacking and hope sega fixes is the ability to edit the damn jersey numbers from players. its a shame when you trade a superstar to another team and having him wear a different number cuz some scrub has that number.

!

I love ESPN NBA despite a couple of nitpicks that irritate me including but not limited to the camera. NBA Live 2003 is nice looking but just doesn't have that 'feel' to it. If only they could combine the two and have the perfect NBA franchise.

I was thinking of just waiting until NBA 2005 to pick up ESPN but if its going to be even cheaper I'll just get it now.

ESPN is great playing by yourself but Live is better if you want to play with a friend. I play Live almost every day with my bro and we never get bored of it.

This has been posted before, but if you collect Coke bottlecaps you can get $10 off ESPN.

So if you're lucky enough to have a Target that has it for 29, then in total you can get the game for $19.99. Not bad.

EDIT: Changed URL to skip past the annoying flash movie

Damn, that sucks man, I thought it would be a universal drop since it wasnt on clearance.
