Well, I was recently wondering about this. How about a CheapAssGamer IRC channel? I think me and many other forumers would enjoy chatting it up on IRC.

there is or was something like it. any time the site would go down, there was some alternate site you would get directed to where you could chat. of course, as soon as the site went back up, everyone would leave, so it probably isn't the best idea.
