Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne is coming out. Once SMT:N and Digital Devil Saga comes out, Persona 1 & 2 will skyrocket in value.

Look at Star Ocean 2. Before summer I could always find at least two copies in my EB for $17.99 and eBay for $15-20 Now SO3 comes out and people are selling getting up to $40 for them on eBay.

And that's just from Enix, imagine the increase in value for an Atlus game. Another good example of current releases helping boost prices of old releases is Disgaea and Rhapsody (Both developed by Nippon Ichi and published by Atlus).

His asking price is not unreasonable. But Ebay by far is the best bet. As for Star Ocean 2, if it is 40+ on ebay i will make a killing since all EB stores in my area have em new for 18.99-19.99, time to get hopping.

Good for you. GS is really the place for bargain hunting on PSX games. I got a used/mint Dragon Warrior VII there for $12.99. I also saw several rare games there like Valkyrie Profile and the Ogre series. I didn't buy it though, because they didn't come with manuals.

100% agree. I got my mint Suikoden 2 there too. Guy from Gamestop didn't know they had a copy.

Ebay is the way to go... I bought a MvC2 sealed that I'll probably have to ebay, I didn't get it cheap and I'd rather have a copy I can play without instantly devaluing it. If there were anyone on CAG that would pay $100 for a new Persona 2 (which is a little cheaper than ebay), they probably already own it.

He'll definitely get *at least* $100 on Ebay for it. I just sold two sealed copies of Persona 2 on Ebay a couple months ago. The first one sold for $127 and the second one went for a little over $100.

PSX collectors, snatch this game up now while you still can. I have a feeling it's going to become the next Suikoden II.
