For me it is a four way tie between E.T. the Extraterrestrial, Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List, and the Indiana Jones movies which can bbe categorized as one. Of those the one that think is my favorite, I would have to say Schindler's List.

I would make this into a poll but truly there are too many to include in one and somebody would say that this movie was let out.

Didnt we do this thread already?

I say "Raiders of the Lost Ark"

I also really enjoyed "A.I." even though that was a very flawed movie.

From a directing, screenplay, and cinematography standpoint, Schindler's List is 2nd to none.

From entertainment's perspective, I think Jurassic Park gave me the most satisfaction.

I did a pretty large search and didn't really find anything. So if there was...than lock it up if you feel it should or let this one go on since there hasn't been one in a while.

Saving Private Ryan is probably my fav. The D-Day beach sequence was so intense. I remember my granddad telling me about once and that was exactly like he described it.

Schindler's List is also an amazing movie, but it's just too hard to watch to be my fav.

Private Ryan.

BTW, I hope that George Lucas writes the scripts for Eps. 7, 8, and 9. THen I hope he has a heart attack or something, so Spielberg could direct them. Lucas always said that Spielberg would be the one to do finish the prequels if something happened to him.

Raiders, followed closely by Jurassic Park.

I'm giving a special mention to Schindler's List though, because, though it's not as entertaining as the other two, the sheer emotional power of that movie is undeniable.

Just to let everyone know that said Green Mile, that movie wasn't directed by Spielberg. You can check it out at his filmography at these two sites.

Where is the love for Jaws???

That remains one of my top 5 favorite movies. The last hour when they are out on the boat in open water is classic.
