I wouldn't call it "America's Shaun of the Dead", but I would call it a corny piece of shit.

Bill Murray is in it....as a zombie.

Fast zombies are dumb. Shaun of the Dead was slow zombies right? I can't remember.

It looks terrible. Except for that Purell line. That was goodtastic writing.

Well, if it is like Shaun of the Dead than it would suck by definition.

Hot Fuzz was good though.

Are we really going to get all elitist and movie snobby about a goddamn zombie movie? Don't kid yourselves, all zombie movies are varying degrees of terrible. But we watch them anyway for any number of reasons. If you want to pick apart and be nitpicky about an intentionally campy and cheesey and stupid horror movie you're completely missing the point.

This looks nothing like Shaun of the Dead. Looks more like people invading a zombie infested area just to have fun killing them. Looks like something I wouldn't mind chuckling through.

LOL I thought the opposite. Some OK action scenes and interesting setups but that purell line was cringe-worthy.

Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were both terrible...

I thought the exact opposite of this line as well. That line made me lose interest in the movie faster than the OP's bias against America. If you watch American zombie movies compared to foreign ones the American ones are truly superior (except for those few gems that not even Jesus could forgive). But as another poster has stated all zombie movies are varying degrees of suck. There isn't a truly stellar blockbuster zombie movie.

Anyways; this movie has piqued my interest. Before I had no interest because the cast and screen caps pissed me off but after the trailer it looks like it could be a solid zombie killing movie. I will reserve my final judgment until reviews start to trickle in.

This was filmed down here in Valdosta and uses Wild Adventures (the local theme park) as the fair in the movie. Just for that...it will blow. I might see it though since some friends are extras in it.

Actually it reminds me more of "Dead Rising".

From watching the trailer I'm interested in it. I highly doubt it's going to be the apocalypse of zombie and American film making as some of you make it out to be.

This looks nothing like Shaun of the Dead, or a Shaun of the Dead ripoff, so I don't see why it's supposed to suck. Seriously, I see nothing bad in that trailer, looks like one of the better zombie movies.

most people are making the shaun of the dead comparison becuse its a comedy zombie film. there arent too many of those outside of cemetrey man and dead alive. some of those return of the living dead films were funny but i dont know if that was intentional or not.

Shaun of the Dead might very well be one of my all-time favorite movie . . . I'll be keeping a close eye on this one.

I been looking forward to this film for awhile. Bill Murray, Mila Kunis as zombies. Then of course....Amber Heard *drool*

hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

Ugh another Americanized comedy movie for today's teenagers. I watched the trailer and have no interest in it. Reminds me of Meet the Spartans, Epic Movie, etc... Bad movies that are not worth watching.

Also I loved Shaun of the Dead.

Harsh... I don't think the trailer made the movie look even comparable to how trashy and horrendous those movies are.

I think this looks entertaining, obviously it's not going to be a "good movie" but as long as I'm entertained that is enough for me. But I also don't mind movies that are intentionally cheesy; as long as the humor is in the right place. And I like the obvious bad-itude that they are going for, a la Army of Darkness, just not as good of course.

Not paying to see in theaters though.

I agree lets just give it a shot might just be a crappy trailer.

I dunno why people are bashing it so hard. Remember the fun parts of Dawn of the Dead (1978) or uhh Dead Rising? Its just gonna be creative/funny ways to kill zombies with your BFF Woody Harrelson. Its not gonna be as good as 28 Days, Shaun, Braindead..but you can hope its an entertaining horror movie.

and hell its an original work. Its not another remake. You have to be slightly excited for that.

I'm kinda surprised they haven't come out with "ZOMBIE Movie" yet. Dressing up people like zombies must cost next to nothing.

dawn of the dead had fun parts to it? i guess after they cleaned up the mall but even so it still kinda was depressing because it was only them and nobody else. even worse then that is that the one chick there was spoken for.

I'll be watching this one.

Also, 28 Days Later did not feature zombies.
