i have read at a few places how good the game is , and it surpassed my expectations . i though it would be weird to have to dungeons be a shoot em up style but it is very well done and it is very fun .

i do have one complaint is that the save password system is a bit complicated , but the game play more than makes up for it . i dont know what the game sells for normally i paid $4.99 at fanfare .

what are your opinions of this game ? what are some other good action adventure games for nes , is zelda II realy as bad as I hear it is ?

No, its not that bad. Its just different than what a Zelda game is expected to be.

I've had a soft spot for this game for years, despite the fact that I've never actually beat it (or even got very far in- I kept losing my passwords as a kid.) It's always nice to see other people enjoying it.

I actually picked up the cartridge of this game as well, a few months ago. Just haven't gotten around to giving it a try. A large part of my deciding to pick it up was the incredible artwork on the front of the cartridge.
