Well....I'm tempted to buy this, my fiance wants a food processor. She said Cuisinart, but KitchenAid also had good reviews. Would be a X-Mas present...so I may wait...seems like a good price though. Although the promotion ends today (9/30)

The also have TWO mail in rebates for free chopper and free cake pan.

Not too bad.....any opinions

those things are the best. The best food processor you can get.

Yeah, I saw that....but it was the cheap processor/blender combo unit...plus it was recondtioned.

Also, the $20 off is still working for me today....debating whether or not to do a little early X-mas shopping (although, I think the rebates may be dead now for the free mini-chopper)

EDIT: The mini-chopper was replaced by a skillet now....neat.

Anyone think I should wait to buy this or is this about as cheap as I will find?

You say she's your Fiance, I would wait and put it on your wedding registry. If you both like cooking (or you just like that she cooks) then you'll both be getting a great wedding present :)

Yeah, I was thinking that too....but I'm not sure how many people would actually buy us $170 food processor. Plus, I'm at a loss of what to get her for X-mas this year ;)

You're going to buy your woman a cooking appliance for Christmas? What next, a vacuum? I see trouble brewing...

A cooking appliance is much different than a vaccuum, many people (myself included) consider cooking to be a favorite hobby. I get appliances/gadgets/something cooking related for pretty much every gift-receiving event and love getting them.

I'm just sayin'...some women would see the gift of said item to be a bit chauvinistic. Obviously, if she's indicated a desire for it, then by all means go for it.

PS - check your XBL dashboard once in a while.

Yeah, it's something SHE really wants.....cooking is FUN for people. Now a Vacuum....I bought that just because I needed it. Not as a gift or anything.

I personally would rather get something I could use for X-mas rather than the same old stuff. Cooking is great.....we both enjoy it, but she's been wanting one of these for a long time (well, since we moved into our house at least). I know we could register for it....but $170 is usually over MOST people's limit for a wedding gift

PS - check your XBL dashboard once in a while.

I got a new entertainment center, and with my new setup, until I get a longer patch cable, I'm Liveless.. and so far I've been too busy/lazy to fix that :)

Woot.com had a Cuisinart blender that also came with a food processor attatchment for something insane like 29.99. We already have a Cuisinart blender or I would have jumped on it. It sold out in a few hours.
