Does a midget live in that room, the bed is fecking tiny.

Perfect room for the gaming oompa-loompa is more like it.

Man, I wish I was playing Duck Tales on the GB right now.

That was the 90's.

Quillion was ahead of his time, right now he's wearing all his clothes backwards and telling everyone things are "fandabeedozzie".

All the kids will be doing it in 10 years time.

You must have stayed in the same dorm as I did my first year. Did you have those cold, hard tile hospital looking flooring as well?

Just like I remember my room.

20 ft high ceilings, wall mounted large lcd flat screen, etc.

Wait a minute that's not right. The person in the top bunk couldn't sit up in the bed because he's smash his head. Also we had like a 1990 TV we found on the street about 5 blocks away we carried home. Thing was huge though and probably weighed 200 lbs. It was an old Sony Trinitron but it was so old it wasn't even cable ready - so we used the broken VCR which 't would eat tapes to get the cable on it.

Also they apparently own no clothes - which i fine with me.

Hell, I wish my apartment looked that nice. There's no way my dorm was any where near that pretty.

Ah yes, this takes me back to my halcyon and comfortable days living in a college dormitory.

In Sears' defense, if you look closely those DO appear to be cinder blocks, just painted a very pleasant shade of green.

They've also neglected to include the small mountain of extension chords and power strips, since no dorm room in history has more than 3 or 4 outlets, and half of them are always across the room from where you need them.

SERIOUSLY! You would think that every media outlet was filled with people who never went to college. What is the freaking conspiracy of making kids want to go to college by making the dorm rooms look huge? Whether it's in print, movies, television shows, they always show these 400sq ft rooms.

Granted, the room's actual sizes wouldn't work well for shooting, but it's still a horrible trick to play on a kid looking forward to getting away from mom and dad. "Guess what! You get to live in a room smaller than your room at home...and the best part is, you share it with someone!" Thank God I only lived in the dorms for a year.

WRONG!! Get that fuckin' Wii out of there first and foremost.

And I concur with the tiny cinder block dorm room experiences, at least in any state university I've been to. Now visiting my ex at University of Dayton was another story, go to a private school and cough up ~30k year and you'll get those nice TV dorm rooms.

Unless he's going to be the next Jackie Chan, I don't really understand why a gamer would have bamboo sticks in his room.

My school leased a 32 story apartment building and used that as a dorm. It was pretty nice. Had wall to wall windows, and the view (at least from mine) was incredible.

I didn't even notice that until said anything, that is really funny. What person over the age of 10 has a plastic dinosaur in their room?

Last time I got a haircut the extremely hot girl who was doing it had a plastic dinosaur on her shelf. I asked about it but she claimed it wasn't hers and showed up on her lunch break. Fuck that lying bitch, she didn't want to let the secret aphrodisiac like effects that plastic dinosaurs have out of the bag.

Hahah, I love how back to school sales ads set up future college students up for disappointment once they get a real taste of dorm life. 10x10 overpriced prison room with inadequate outlets and a room mate are only the half of it. Wait until they see the shared bathrooms (and discover that almost EVERY dorm has a jerk who sh*ts in one of the shower stalls).

Thank gawd when I was college bound I went with a friend to preview the dorms. Eww, no thanks. I was able to get a my own room in an apartment down the street that was three times as large, with its own bathtub, shower, and toilet that I didn't have to share with anybody and had more than 2 electrical outlets for $200 less a month. Plus I had space for my consoles, games, and even a shelf for my dinosaurs (yes, I admit it...I have plastic dinosaurs. And I am over age 10. No, they don't get me hot).

WTF is with the dinosaur on the far left on top of the microwave? Or better yet the whole entire room.

BAMBOO STICKS?!??!

I'm sorry....but if that's a "gamer's" room, then it must have been decorated by his mama.

Off top, mounted flat screen???? YOU WOULD GET ROBBED IF YOU EVEN HAD A FLAT SCREEN!!!! Someone ran into my room because we had 2 laptops in there! Went through someone else's room picked the bathroom lock and boom - was in mine. We caught him the second time around and detained dude but the first laptop was already gone, for good

All that colorful shit...unrealistic

That small ass bed???? I gotta give dorms a shred of credit....at least the normal sized dorm bed can fit a 6 ft person...that shit looks like its made for a midget

Come on Sears....be real! That's Richie Rich's room if he lived on campus. And where's the wires to the TV btw???? Don't tell me in Sear's world flat screens are pre-installed!

Oh yeah, haha. My old campus's dorms were the same way. You couldn't have ANYTHING remotely nice in there without some jackass trying to steal it (usually picking the lock on your door to get in). This was a big factor in my decision to getting an apartment off campus--one of my friends who lived in the dorms saw my computer in my parents' house and said the same thing "You know, if you stay in the dorms, someone is going to steal that. Along with your TV and Playstation." All of my classmates who lived in the dorms were robbed at least once during their stay there, and none of them stayed past the first year because of things like that happening.

right next to the bluetooth headset. Also you notice the bowling bowl near the samsung lcd tv. Knock out the person on the bed and knock down the tv. Sears must lovvvveeee bambo. It's in the pic as well.
