I'm from Texas and I picked up donkey konga today. On the top right corner of the game box where it says only for, it also says only for in spanish. Outside of the box, were loose spanish instructions and spanish bongo guide. Are all the games like this?

i think it's english with french, and then the spanish version separately. instruction booklet wise.

i wonder what types of tracks are on the japanese version?

Good question.^ It would be strange to drum to random Japanese songs.

This is Nintendo's first trilingual game.

The game is trilingual.

All packages contain text and intructions in English, Spanish, and French.

The expense involved with releasing such a cumbersome peripheral/game combo in North America (US, Canada, Mexico - with English, French, Spanish) yields a window of oppertunity for Nintendo to cut costs on three different versions of the same item in order to take the risk involved with bringing a new peripheral to the market.

Comprende?

In some regions (near the border) they probably include the spanish for "las personas quien hablan espanol" (sorry if this makes no sense)

This is my fourth year of Spanish (Spanish 3) and I think Spanish is better than any other languages they offer at my school (german and french
)
