View Full Version : XBL - 1 vs 100 - How the hell do I get in on this?

So I don't spend nearly as much time on my 360 as I use to, but after checking out a few friends and a new game today, I came across advertising for 1 vs 100 game.
I've scoured the official site, googled, and cannot find how the hell I actually become a part of this. The only thing I see referenced is the fact that if you're a Gold member you can play (which I am).
Anyone have any links or detailed info how I can sign-up!?

You don't have to sign up, just join within the dashboard when the games are running, which is every night.
Friday and saturday nights are 'live' which means there is a real announcer with real prizes. Weeknights is just practice.
There is a section of the dashboard devoted to 1 vs 100. Just go in there and see if any games are currently running and join them, otherwise set a calendar reminder. Again, the games only exist in the evenings.

Hahah, thanks Thrust, total noob question, so I'll take the flack.
So I assume there is a limit or que people are put on during this time (I can't imagine it being open to everyone and their grandmother).

I think the first night was the only night people couldn't get in due to "too many people." The crowd usually has 30-50k people in it (for the live shows)

27 in the mobb missed that. oh well season one is done ass loads of time playing and points and never made the mob or the one. someone in my group tonight just started and on second game was in the mob.
hopefully they will bring it out with some need changes next season

Thats why I quit playing it. I started to for about a half hour tonight and just said the hell with it. When I started I was playing every live show I could get in on and saw some in the mob 3 or 4 times some times during the whole show they were in it. I read you could only be the one once per season and some if they werent the one they were in the mob. I know chances are low for me to get in the mob but hell they need to do something different so that more get into the mob. Maybe change it to you can only be in the mob once a week or so.
I don't think I will be playing this when it comes out.

If anybody answered Gary Busey they should be reported.
Every time I'd play there'd be a handful of questions people would get wrong and I'd just sit there like "really...?". One of them was like, what is the National bird of the USA, and the options were Bald Eagle, Goose, Bat, and Cardinal, and something like 25 or so mob members got knocked out. That stuff just makes you shake your head and wonder if you're playing with people who are four years old or mentally challenged.

Well on that they could be in Canada or maybe in another country with a US or Canada account. I don't know if that would work or not. So maybe they really didn't know. Also not reading all of the answer is big thing that gets people also. I got the Salvation Army wrong because all I read was the "Sal" and answered "X" and it was Salvia Army or maybe it was Saliva Army.

A big thing for me was (and I remember this happening one night fairly often at first), was, this one guy who always instant answer X. And because of reflex, without even thinking, I fell for it half the time and until I quit and rejoined (to leave the group I was in), I wanted to strangle the guy.

It's not the same people getting into the mob over and over - you're either seeing similar avatars (I can't count how many Jokers or Vs I've seen), or MIcrosoft-generated avatars. You can only be in the mob once a night, and I don't know anyone who's done it more than once in a night.

It's not the same people getting into the mob over and over - you're either seeing similar avatars (I can't count how many Jokers or Vs I've seen), or MIcrosoft-generated avatars. You can only be in the mob once a night, and I don't know anyone who's done it more than once in a night.
there are more threads than one can count at the xbox forums with people getting in mob/one many many times. i personally have seen people get in mob twice in one live show. if they was to put all 3 answers up at same time it would give everyone that same chance at speed bonus. yes you can still get it but in the answer is the third one you will get less speed than someone bashing the x button. the ones bashing x are getting in because speed is such a huge factor

Let's try this again: IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO GET INTO THE MOB MORE THAN ONCE A NIGHT. The game's programming makes this impossible. With tens of thousands of people playing and limited avatar options, you're either going to see similar/identical avatars, or you're seeing default avatars.

As for the speed bonus, I think that's one thing that's going to be significantly tweaked during the game's break. It's still entirely possible to get the full speed bonus with the other two answers (although the timing makes it easier to pull off with B than with A).
