GS had one and it cost me $0 after all the credit I had backed up from previous HWV flips and eRewards GCs. If I had to pay for it, it wouldn't have happened. Free is a different option entirely. Especially since I had no hope of finding a complete copy of inFAMOUS at this point and MvC2 just released with Tekken 6 on the way.

There is the official Mad Catz photoshop template for the TE. I would suggest finding some super high res pics. The template is fucking enormous, but the art comes out nice and crisp when printed.

Scratch: The Ultimate DJ seems like it might be better than DJ Hero. I think I like the control scheme more. But in Scratch you're not always scratching, and when you do scratch it's your own scratches, not like DJ Hero where you play the scratches as they are on the track. And I hate drum fills on RB since they never sound good. Seems like the same premise with Scratch.

Plus you can play guitar in DJ Hero, which has the potential to be really fucking great.

Edit: I dunno, Mojimbo. I don't see listings for either the controller or the game by themselves on Amazon. I'd hope they list them both if they're sold separately if not the bundle (who knows, they have the GH guitar bundles listed). At the very least, if the controller is sold by itself and is $60, they would likely list it if someone sent in an email.

At this point I'm either going to use my 50% coupon on a $60 360 game or DJ Hero. Probably DJ Hero. But I have a month to decide. And it'll only be $20 out of pocket if someone wants my Game Boy Micro. :D

Ok, I turned the game off right after the boss fight so I'll play it again this morning and see if it gets better. One thing I don't like about the game is their "Simlish" language. When you hear the voices, it sounds like they're saying "difficult cookie" at the beginning of every sentance. Once you've heard it, you can't un-hear it. :lol:

Yeah, that is a little annoying. Luckily when you're out in the world the music is mixed really loud so you don't have to hear "YES SIR!" like 18 times every time you reorder your royal guard. It's kind of drowned out. :lol:

FYI, by first main boss, I mean the Onii King, but before that there's a few mini bosses. Not sure how far you are, but there's a few guardians before the Onii King that give you land but the game stays linear until the Onii King.

That's the first album I had and I find that most of their albums sound similar to it. From what I've read on them, they have all been playing together since they were young(er), so I just take it as a unique style.

I have the update so I decided to test it out on 6 games.

Forza 2 went from 5.3gb to 4.7gb (-11.32%)
NHL09 went from 5.7gb to 5.0gb (-12.28%)
COD4 went from 6.7gb to 6.5gb (-2.99%)
CODWaW went from 6.5 gb to 6.4gb (-1.54%)
Sacred 2 went from 6.5gb to 6.3gb (-3.08%)
Left 4 Dead went from 4gb to 3.7gb (-26.00%)

Total savings = 3.1gb

Overall, it seems like reinstalling your games is only worth it if you're near the brim in terms of free space. The total savings was only 8.68% for the six games I tested. So just extrapolating from this for 100gb I'd save 8.7gb with the new installation sizes netting me an additional game on my 120gb. Other than the huge gains on smaller games, it probably isn't worth it to reinstall everything.

edit: decided to test the only "small" (3.4-3.5gb install) game I have.. Earth Defense Force 2017 went from 3.4gb to 1.6gb

I wouldn't go around thinking lawsuit just yet. My guess is that because of the upcoming Games On Demand service, the research devoted to that made them reprogram the dash in such a way as to ignore security and dummy files used on DVDs for loading purposes. The old dash probably wasn't designed to read those images without the files, thus the large file sizes.

I'm going to continue testing the games I have today and check a few of them for any performance gains. Again, based on the few I did last night I think that performance will be the same as before but I just want to make sure before making that theory a fact.

The ones around here (a) get new shit from somewhere and (b) aren't picked over because college isn't in session. I hit one over by RPI today and that's where I got AC/GTA4/MGS4(x2)/MP3. I then went to the first one I scored at in the Albany area (the OTT hookup run, apparently) and found 2 copies of Fable 2 and the original Condemned. They had a Condemned 2 and another AC, but didn't know how much AC would be worth on somewhere like half, so I didn't feel like dropping the extra $5+tax.

Everything was complete and in good sellable condition (fuck GS, I'll clear more, since I'm not raping their promos at the moment), save one copy of Fable 2 which has original case but missing instruction booklet.
