How to Play ONLY the CPU in Arcade - Street Fighter 4

So I'm new to SF4 and want to make sure I get an idea of moves and a feel for all the characters.

I want to go through arcade playing ONLY the CPU, as I'm getting frustrated by the fact that every time I attempt to start a match, I get the "A NEW WARRIOR HAS ENTERED THE RING" that disurpts the match.

Anyone know how I can shut this off?

It's been a while since I played this, and I can't get to the game right now, but I remember it being an option when starting the arcade mode.

But to answer your question, turn off fight requests.

Just to expound on the earlier points, I think you press the L- or R-bumper at the main menu to access the "fight request" options. Kinda counter-intuitive, really, but that's how they set it up!

Thanks guy. For future reference, you toggle this feature on and off via the main menu. Press "R1" and edit from there.
