yeah you should be able to use your edge card. When they had the buy 2 games get 15% off buy 3 get 20% off etc deal in the stores you were able to combine with a edge card so I don't see why you cant in this case.

I checked with my source at EB and he said it was indeed PT, I doubt that its a typo, they already prited the hanging signs. So if you don't pick one up im sure that other Anihiem CAGs will take advantage of the offer. Regardless I will go in to get Call of Duty

However it is questionable that you will be eligable for both vouchers since both may require an original receipt. We'll have to check vouchers that come with these games. I contacted EB and they said that if both vouchers require the original recipt you'll most likely only be able to receive one. However he did agree that 'Offer can be combined with other offers except the "Free Strategy Guide" offer.' We'll have to wait to see the vouchers that come with these two games. If you don't want to put a voucher at risk exclude these two games from the deal. If you want to give it a shot or mix and match, go for it.

This is really great for those who are getting Call of Duty anyway. Because you could get another game like X-Men Legends, Rome Total War, or the United Offensive Expansion and get an extra $15 gift voucher.

Yeah. The one where both purchases have to be on the same receipt is a killer. I've never heard of a company requitring that before. That makes you buy two activision titles at the same time.

Opened up a box of flyers today, and what is on the front page but a picture of the FIRST Splinter Cell for Xbox priced at $4.99. So either the person who wrote the shelf talkers messed up, or the person who did the flyers. Unfortunately it was probably the person who did the shelf talkers.

Most stores will not allow duplicate titles, but some are more lax than others. Four of the same title seems rather excessive, though.

I went to BB and picked up Zelda WW for $15. Last non-PH copy.

I didn''t want to make a second trip to EB, so I tried to PM the sale prices. The managers would let me PM F-Zero but not Call of Duty. He said they were out of stock. Well, I smelled BS because he was very aqgainst the Call of Duty PM. He was a nice guy, served me courteously and even apologized, but he wasn;t willing to drop the price for $30 to $10.

So, I take the extra twenty minutes to go to Ebgames. Sure enough Call of Duty was in stock. I wanted to use my 10 gift voucher that expires in November. But it only works on purchases OVER $10. I wanted to add PSI OPs, but they had no new and sealed copies. The best they could do was put a new disc in a used case. So I ddin't pick that up but got Call of Duty anyway.

None of the EbGames have a new factory sealed copy of Psi Ops without stickers on the cases. I have this voucher I can only use in store. It's aggravating I couldn't use it on Call of Duty.

Yes, you should have gotten Marvel vs. Capcom for $17. I sold my $5 copy on Ebay for $70 a couple weeks ago. I then traded in games I had spent $15 on for another one and I got $61 out of that one on Ebay.

I went there last night to trade in 5 games. On hearing the news that the site doesn't have all the excluded games, I brought nine along. Now, these are all budget titles now, but almost all of them are good. So, I didn't think I'd get much, 20 tops. I got there, and handed Tom, the kindly, wise, and youthful man behind the counter, my nine games. 5 of them were accepted for the 25 dollar rebate. "Alright," I said, "How much are these worth?"


"Thirty-four Dollars."

I said, "A-what-a-what-a-HUUUUUUUHHHH?!?!?! My good man?"


So, as it turns out, a buncha $2 games mixed in with a few $5-7 dollar games gets me almost 60 bucks....



Then I went and blew 24 at the Gamestop across the street on 2 N64 games. That was fine, though, cause I got a free one with them with their "Buy 2 used games, get one free" deal. I couldn't get the boxed, new, ten-dollar Pokemon Puzzle League included in the deal, though, because it was new. So I spent 13 on a loose, used copy instead.

it is very hard to keep games in alphebetical order. i recently alphabetized the entire used ps2 section at work (everything was all over the place). it didn't even last the day before everything was messed up again. it really pissed me off seeing as i worked on it for 3 hours it was so bad. so before you say how you don't like it, think of how hard it is for the employees to keep the stuff in alphabetical order. i have alphabetized the xbox sections (new and used), gamecube sections, and ps2 sections now and none have stayed in order even a day even after trying to fix it a few times the same day so that it didn't get too bad.

I went to my local EB Games today and picked up Call of Duty for $10. Of course, I was the only person in the store as usual and the Gamestop across the street had a lot more people. They had signs on the shelves all over the stores for the sales they were having at the time, but even then, the employee working there didn't know anything about them. Anyway, I'm happy that I finally took advantage of one of these sales because I almost always miss them. Next time, I'll probably pick up an Edge card and try out Donkey Konga (someone was busy playing Paper Mario, so I couldn't try it out).

I have random odd problems when using Firefox on the EBGames.com and Gamestop.com sites, sometimes it won't let me remove items from my cart, as well as not do checkouts properly.

Yes, she was right. You can't walk into a store and find Madden LE right now, can you? The same deal will apply to the Halo most likely. You may get lucky and get one that was pre-ordered but not picked up, but you would save yourself a lot of hassle if you just pre-ordered.

ARGH. The reason why I was so certain that it was Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow that was going to be $4.99 is because we got shelf talkers saying so. "Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow XBox $4.99", plain as plain could be. Opened up a box of flyers today, and what is on the front page but a picture of the FIRST Splinter Cell for Xbox priced at $4.99. So either the person who wrote the shelf talkers messed up, or the person who did the flyers. Unfortunately it was probably the person who did the shelf talkers.

EB has some sort of disclaimer on all of their handouts, I forget the exact wording, but it's something along the lines of, "If we typo, it's not our fault so we won't honor it." They put the wrong title down for deals all the time. You can look at your local EB during the 10th & 11th to see if the shelf talker is there and maybe the employees will honor it.

Oh, sorry. Shelf-talkers are little cardboard signs that the stores use to advertise deals. They're usually stuck into the shelves somehow, near stuff they apply to.
