Tomorrow, both of these envelopes will be deposited in a mail box.
Which rebate will come back first?

I agree I think they'll both return the same day... of course if one were to return first by a day I'd say it was the $100 one.... (just covering all the bases.)

Here's a cheapass way to send the mail:
Put your address as the sending address, and the recipient's address in the top left, with no stamp. It will be "sent" to the "recipient" due to insufficient postage!

Yeah, but I would actually like to receive my $250.

Or, you could become a congressman or senator...
Then you can just "frank" all of your letters!
Just so you know, franking is a privledge granted to senators/congressmen that allows them to sign thier name on the envelope in lieu of postage.

^ Ah yeah, I remember that from Government class last year. I also saw footage of this machine signing a letter, to mimic the person's signature...btw...all Congresspeople also get lifetime access to the congressional Gym, hehe.

I think people can still make out your address and stuff if they really wanted to. So maybe you should go over it again.

That only works if Cheapy would have been sending it somewhere in his area...it tends not to work if he is sending it out of state. Think about it...how would the piece of envelope gotten all the way to the original state where it was supposed to get to without proper postage.

Now I think both rebates would reach Best Buy Rebate Center at the same time...now when Best Buy sends them is a different story...I say the 100 one comes back just cause I think they'll say "Hmm this one is cheaper...lets send him this one back, then who will have the last laugh BWAHAHAHA"

Ok, rebates have been mailed...
Now all we have to do is play the waiting game...
Eh, the waiting game sucks, lets play Hungry Hungry Hippos.

The postal service one will come back faster. Why? Because the USPS will move it out faster. They love compliments. But, I can't believe some people(read the other posts) have found a way to get over on paying for a stamp.

The real question is, what's in the rebates.... because if it's one of those split-rebate things, the one with the original UPC will come back faster.

They are both identical in every way, except for the amount of the rebates.
Both require copy of UPC, copy of receipt and a rebate form.

I think by the time they come back, everyone will have forgotten about this.

Hehe, it's not like I've ever used my technique before, and it could only concievably work in the same state as someone said. I had read about it in this book called "What the Government Doesn't Tell You" or something like that.

first of all they probably will not come in the standard 6-8 weeks that is most likely stated, and I would have to guess that the $100 comes first

Oh it works, it's just like I said, works better if it is someone in the area. Then again now we got e-mails so it really doesn't matter to give someone a letter and wait 2-3 days for them to get it.. You could try it out, mail it to a friend that lives near by and put his address as the return address, it should get back to him.

Is that book likea book of secrets/ tricks or something?
bluetoast
01-09-2004, 06:55 PM
Not really tricks, but more like secrets,...stuff that's not really discussed...such as the fact that Hitler still has blood relatives (nephews), and they vow never to have children so that the bloodline will be over.

Damn that sounds like an interesting book. Can you try to remember to title more? Also, how would writing praise make it ship faster? I dont think they do "favorites" but so its like a sorter person says "oOh nice handwriting!" then sorts it first and then bad hand wrting comes along and he goes "damm this is poo, I'll wait a week before I sort it >:p" ? I'm not saying theyll judge by handwriting but its just an example.
