Why is anyone willing to pay so much for an issue of OPM? The magazine is going to be on store shelves in 2 days. If people are bidding on it to get it sooner, there are stupid. It ends later than when you can buy it in stores.

I dont think it has a different cover. Its just the plastic that they always put around the magazine in stores. I can see the "!" on the corner of the cover, so I'm sure its the same cover.

What a bunch of super geek asses. The game is almost that price and you only have to wait a little more than a month longer. Plus, by the time the stuff ships, the mag will already be in stores.

They aren't dumb, they are just misimformed. The average joe probably saw the November 2004 month on the magazine and think they are getting it a whole month early, when in fact all magazines are cover dated at least a month earlier.

actually when they got them in, he could've just taken a picture of it and left it at the store, and then have the auction end after the magazine is released, so he doesnt have to take it out of the store until its released so he does nothing wrong.

Well, the guy that paid $40 for it lives in Germany, which probably won't see the demo disc yet. So he'd pay those prices for the magazine. As for the guy wanting $100 for it, he needs a swift kick in the ass. No one will pay that much.
