reporting posts

so, if I report a post how long does it take to get a mods attention? I'm curious because I've reported posts in the past but rarely see or hear about a follow up.

I reported a post today. the post is still there 6 hours later. are mods that backed up with this stuff or wasnit just deemed not important by a random mod? which brings me to my next question, if the post is not considered bad by a mod why can't they shoot the reporter a pm and explain why? it would only take 2 seconds and at least then it would clear the air.

Unless it's something really problematic (spam, nsfw stuff), I wouldn't expect the mods to make it a priority to take action on every reported post they get.

We usually get them pretty fast. I don't remember getting a post from you, maybe it didn't go through?

Email notification is an issue right now, which affects reported posts.

When that's an issue, we won't see any emails for any reported posts, so it's nothing personal about not getting to it in a timely manner. If we don't know about it, we can't address it.
