On and it's not Fable II that's being split up in episodic content:
Peter Molyneux announced during the Lionhead press conference at GamesCom that Fable II Episodic adventures are on the way. The first chapter is free and takes place after the end of the normal game. Once players get to the ending they can opt to buy the next chapter or buy the rest of the game. The purchase takes place in game and there are five episodes.

Well Fable was a let down to me and so was Fable II. All that they said would be in Fable didn't make it till Fable II and for the most part I'm talking about the multi player. However the multi player in Fable II was lacking. You couldn't bring your character in to someone elses game and they couldn't bring theirs into yours. I still don't know what to think about them making your friends gamerpics show up as orbs floating around. I wonder how much they are going to build up for 3 and how much of a let down it is going to be. Don't get me wrong the games are great but I have always just been left wanting more.

I enjoyed Fable II. Nothing great, but it was a fun and short game to blow throw IMO.

I'll likely pick the sequel up off Goozex after a few months from release just like I did Fable II.

I need to give the Fable games a shot someday. I've got a copy of Fable for the PC that won't run on my old-ass laptop and (unless I'm doing something really wrong) can't be installed on Vista, even after hours of fiddling with the game, the installer, and the OS. That's soured me on the series, and I've never actually played the game. :lol:

Fable was a good game. Fable 2 was meh. I will wait until it is used at $12.99 before i buy Fable 3.

Fable 2 was pretty good IMO, definitely not game of the year BS like so many places thought.

My biggest concern is that they fix co-op. The co-op in Fable 2 was the biggest let down. I don't want to tug-o-war with the screen and worse of all play as a generic alignment character.

maybe fable 2s ultimate suck is the reason fable 3 is coming so soon after. they really blew it. i only let out a sigh when i heard about the game

the teaser didn't really do much for me. Most teasers make me want to see more of the game. This one just felt meh.

I absolutely love Fable 2 also. It's one of my most favorite games on xbox360. I'm looking forward to this especially since you can use your Fable 2 save file.

Loved Fable, favorite game of all time. Was pretty cold on Fable 2 initially, but really really began to like it during my second playthrough.

Definitely interested in this, and glad it's so soon. I can say this, though... I'm kind of hoping that the eventual Fable 4 will go BACK in time. This march forward is sort of hurting the series for me, since the the way Albion was in the first game was one of the more interesting parts. I want more of that... more of the age of heroes.

Agh, screw Fable 3... I was so supportive of Peter up to Fable 2. Now I'm just done with it... All this speak about, "touching your child and embracing your dog" (or the other way around... ahah) it's all gonna be total BS. He makes it seem so much more organic then it turns out to be.

I'm still interested, but I'm going to look at everything before I purchase it. I was just really hoping the social part of Fable 2 would be more fleshed out.

Agh, screw Fable 3...

Yeah, I really just don't like Molyneux games, they're weak. Black & White 1&2, tried them both.

Now just today, put a few hours into Fable 2 and it's terribly boring, controls like a H2 Hummah (man my character can turn on a dime...), and for all it's simplicity, it is terrible unintuitive in so many sections of the game.

I will...keep an eye on this one. I liked Fable 1 and 2, but the formula is old. At least Pete is willing to switch it up a bit.

I am pretty excited for this, especially since it uses the Fable II save file. I'm still playing Fable II and loving it. I haven't played either of the dlc expansions yet, so I've still got a lot to do.
