I Say Rickenbacker, but what puts me off on the instruments is they're $100 each is the thing.

I like the look of the Gresch personally.
I won't get either though as I'm fine with my GH2 and GH3 360 controllers. I'll probably grab the disc off Goozex down the road though.

Heh Im just going to use my RB1 wired, but I'd go with the Gretsch if I was to get one of these. Its a shame the Hofner is only with the big box which I refuse to buy as Id buy the Hofner alone.

Hey, man, we have to get something for the amount we shelled out for that thing :bomb:.
I thought for sure when they announced the $250 price and mentioned Paul's bass was in it that we were also getting a guitar. But no... Still, with my son being a huge fan (not to mention me as well) we pretty much had to get the SE. At least Amazon and their trade-in program (plus ECA) came to the rescue. I used the ECA + the 50% promo code from a trade-in to get the SE for $99.99 flat. Nice - though my cheapass still thinks that is overpriced ;).
But are they really not planning to sell the Hofner (or the drums) separately? That would be nice if so - then at least there's some value to getting the SE in that you have "exclusive" instruments (for however little that is worth - the Hofner looks cool anyway).
As for the poll, I like the look of the Gretsch way better. But I'm more of a John man. Though I like them all (except for Paul ;)).

Rickenbacker. I'm a big fan of the actual instruments, as they're used by some of my favorite guitarists and they just sound great. But I won't be picking up either, because of that stupid high price tag.
But I am buying the bundle, so fuck me, right?
