I have a question hopefully someone can help me out.

I recently bought a 720p 26" LCD. My eyes are about 3' feet from the screen. I have a 360 hooked up via component, a ps3 via hdmi and my pc via vga. pc, and xbox look great but ps3 looks a little fuzzy (for lack of a better term.) I have messed around with the sharpness on the TV but it doesn’t seem to help. Do any of you know (given the limitations of my TV) what the optimum settings I should have on the ps3's output?

The PS3 has a weird problem where there's a possibility of there being a ground loop. It sounds like you might be experiencing it. The cheapass solution is to get one of those three prong plug to two prong socket adapters and cut the little metal piece that hooks around the third prong. The cheapasser solution is to cut the third prong off of your PS3 power cord. I cut the third prong off, and my PS3 instantly cleared up.
