TRU Price Changes 10/7 Nintendo Players Choice

Here's a list of price changes for this Thursday October 7th. The good news is that just like I reported a few days ago all Nintendo Players Choice titles will be $20. The new titles added to Players Choice are:

GC Zelda: Wind Waker $19.95
GC Kirby Air Ride $19.95

The games dropping to $19.95 that are already players choice are:
Mario Sunshine
Animal Crossing
Mario Golf

The only weird thing is that Super Smash Brothers is not showing up due for a price drop. Could it be selling well enough that Nintendo is going to keep it at $30 or maybe TRU forgot to add it to the list. I believe there is going to be a press release about the price change on Tuesday from Nintendo, so other stores may have these prices sooner, but TRU does their price changes for R-zone Thursday so these won't be available until then.

Spidey, I posted in the Gamecube discussions thread about this deal a few days ago. I had a list of all the retailer exclusive GBA SPs in there, too. Circuit City is supposed to be getting a Pearl White one for the holidays, I'm betting it will be the same exact one as the FF Tactics one in Japan, but I only have names of the systems and haven't actually seen pictures. I wouldn't see why not. The current copies have it and those will be $20, so if you're worried I'd pick up one of those before they are gone. I wouldn't expect them to stop packaging the memory card since you have to have it and 59 memory cards aren't even being sold any more and can't be that much to pack in.

Oh yeah, I saw the 10/10 TRU ad. I'm not gonna post the deals because they aren't that great anyway, but the Buy 2 get 1 free is not in that weeks ad. The only deals for video games were a few bundle deals on systems, a few dollars off on certain titles, and 2 for $30 on GBA videos. By the end of the week future ads should be available, so its getting close to when we'll find out if the Buy2get1 deal is really happening.

I wish I knew when Mario Kat DD will get a price drop. I might just trade mine in for $30 (after extra $5) at GameRush it it will get a price drop down to $20 soon. :)

I HAD Smash Bros., but never liked it (neither did any of my friends), so I no longer own it.

Selfishly, I'm a little bummed about this... I was planning to get Animal Crossing, Wario Ware (GC) and Super Mario Advance 4: Mario 3 (GBA) in the TRU sale. This just means instead of saving $30, I save $20, and Animal Crossing is more likely to be sold out.

But on the whole, it's certainly a good thing.

I do. I have the original super smash bros. and I played it to death. I've played melee before and while good, it's not 30$ good, esp with the amount of games I need to get. I'm waiting at least until it's 20 before I pick it up...
As for this, maybe I'll pick up harry potter. :P
