I just got the following email from Microsoft... note the date:


Dear GiantJerk,

Your subscription to Xbox Live Monthly Gold Membership is scheduled to be automatically renewed on Monday, December 20, 9999. Here is a description of the service:

I'm not going to post the rest of it, but... I wonder what this means?

As if my console would last that long without RRODing again. On a side note, the 1 free month of xbox live gold card that they sent to me when my console was repaired (got it back Tuesday) is invalid... hmmm...

I got the same message when I cancelled the auto-renew thing that I never signed up for in the first place.

Eh, if I go onto MS's site, it just shows it expiring next month like it should. Too bad :P
