saw this tv on sale in the target ad this week for $250...I was wondering if any of you cags have it and how you like it for gaming/movies/tv

Agreed.. 1080p doesn't seem necessary until after 32" or so

I was considering a Vizio when I was shopping for my HDTV, but after reading numerous horror stories about the screen turning green or the TV quitting completely after a year, I decided to get a better brand.

Also, they make PC monitors that size that have higher resolutions than most HDTV's. If you're gonna use one as a TV, though, make sure the DVI port can do the HDCP Handshaking protocol. If it can, all you need is a DVI-HDMI cable.

These aren't actual TVs, they're usually PC monitors which they advertise as TVs.
