I'm looking for new games to play and enjoy, but, as this site name suggests, I am NOT gonna spend money over and over for games that are basically pieces of crap. I'm cheap like that.

I was hoping that perhaps some of you can suggest some games for me if I describe what I like, and why.

Grand Theft Auto series.
Why? Physics engine abuse, trainers allow this to be maximized. Good story line.

Age of Empires series.
Why? I actually find it amusing to let my little 'minions' collect resources, and watch that little poor goat or tree disappear. I've been known to make them clear a tree line just to watch it progress.

Black and White 2.
Why? 'cause with the help of a trainer I've found, I can over-populate the land, and being a gracious 'God' like I am, I... nuke them all until their numbers are thinned out. [See link.. of sorts: tiny[dot]cc/uyPBg
take out the 'dot', of course.] Big bonus points for physics engine abuse, as the image shows, and more points for being Age of Empires like, as well as the ability to have a creature.

Spore.
Why? It's appealing, pretty graphics, the whole 'god' thing again. Also, it's funny to release trees while flying at full speed, and watch them as they basically orbit for a while until they land.

Half-Life.
Why? Puzzles, physics engine abuse, big booms are possible with Garry's Mod. [I am not a fan of general FPS, that's why I play with God mode.]

Portal.
Why? Puzzles, physics engine abuse.

Contrary to what you may suggest, I actually am NOT interested in the 'Sims' series, almost for the same reason why I don't like Spore: They just are NEVER happy, and they have no basic 'free will' as it were.

So, with all that said, what do ya'll think? What games do you think I'll enjoy next?

I'm afraid I haven't. I'll check that out. Any other ideas?

I would not recommend Demigod because it's more of a micro-management strategy game a la DOTA, rather than a macro-management like AoE IMO.

World of Goo.

It's a puzzle game with a very interesting building/physics mechanic. Simple, engaging, you can have a lot of fun with it.

Fallout 3

Fun physics and violent like GTA. You can play around the console, use the editor, and download add-ons for some really crazy stuff. The game is terrible if you play it like an FPS, but if you don't play it like and FPS and enjoy it for an RPG, you'll have a great time with it. If you really hate FPS and see Fallout 3 as an FPS, pass on it.

Even though you say you're not interested in The Sims franchise you should check out the newest rendition The Sims 3. I don't know what you mean by the characters don't have "free will." If they did, it's Skynet and I don't know why you would want a game where it plays itself. Otherwise, you don't have to micro your Sims as diligently as the other games though.

Crayon physics deluxe.

Interest physics engine, if you have a wild imagination and can visualize it, this puzzle game would be great for you.

There's actually quite a few casual games that might fit your play preference. Time management games, maybe.

Lemme re-phrase... if you have to constantly keep your people 'happy', then, no... at last with Black and White 2, it wasn't like a 'clockwork wife', just reminders now and then. I tried the original Sims, and crap, it just... looks too childish for me, as well.

The entire concept behind Sims kills me. Like, with Black and White 2, you made your followers happy, yes, but, I didn't have to play 'house' with every family unit. That kinda crap drives me away from a game almost as fast as a game that runs at 2FPS at the lowest screen size. I had more time to actually play the game and less time worry 'bout each individual.

Oh, also, reminds me, I do, at times, enjoy building a city or some such like in Black and White 2, that was fun.

Thanks for all your input, by the way.

Anyhow, World in Conflict is a great RTS. Not a whole lot of unit management like most RTS's but the airstrikes and rock-paper-helicopter dynamic has you rely on teamwork heavily.

Awesome singleplayer campaign too.

^^^(sorry no quoting on iPhones, so this'll do.)^^^

Well with that last piece of info you gave us about how you like to build things, have you tried any of the roller coaster tycoons?

Sorry for tri-posting, but there's no editing option on the iPhone, bur have you tried Starcraft? That's 1 of the best known RTS out there.

Seems I've another day going to bed really freggin' late again due to Fallout 3, thanks for the tip, and I haven't even done all the quests yet! And, I hear there are add ons available too? Woot! Fallout 3 is my new Half Life 2, haha... it won't fully replace it, but, it comes very, VERY close. And, even better, everything runs more or less stable around ~25FPS, and with the 'High' settings... gotta love that! Thanks for the tip, kilm!
