I bought a new laptop yesterday and it came loaded with a trial version of MS office 2007. I tried uninstalling it, but midway through the thing just stopped working. After a few hours of sitting through that I decided to just cancel the uninstall process and start it over again. Now when I try to uninstall it I get this error message: "The language of this installation package is not supported by your system."

Any ideas on how I can get it off my system now? Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried to boot into safemode then try to uninstall? Also you can just manually delete the folder if safemode doesnt work.

Try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Install it, Fire it up, then Select Office 2007 in the list.

I was able to get my hands on an office 2007 cd and use that to repair it. It then uninstalled fine. Thanks for the help guys.
