Yes lets look at Halo:

Dropped last year to $29.99, however during the xmas season last year almost ever single retail chain had it for $15-$20.

The fact is that Halo is still rather expensive because it's Xbox's only proven system seller. Up until the live service launched the only reason to even think about playing Xbox was Halo.

I'm tired of the silly "system wars" and the arguements that come from it. Face facts: PS2 will always be on top (sales-wise), while the Xbox and Gamecube battle it out for second place. It's been like that since they both
launched, and it'll stay that way till the end, all opinions aside.

Not is Zelda and Kirby back in stock, the used version of kirby dropped down to $17.99, which, ACs and edge card, comes to about $13.50 shipped. Much, much better :)

I want to get non-PC titles of sunshine and wind waker to have as backups but I want to pay $15 at bestbuy after GGC. Problem is bestbuy has almost no stock where I am. I was able to find one copy of wind waker at full price even though online it said none. I plan to leave it unsealed and return and re-buy it when it drops and use the GGC. This may be even too cheapass for some people but what can I say. Only thing I wonder is, will the UPC be the same for the player's choice game or will the original still ring up at 49.99 when the players choice ones show up as 20. If so I'll just return it and in the meantime I will pick one of each up at CC for 20 to make sure I don't get shut out. All the local GS & EB's are sold out of both except for opened "new" copies.

windwaker for 16 or whatever we usually have 20 dollar games go on sale for. i don't really remember any other games. all i could think about was saving one of the windwakers for myself, and also groaning about 6 ad pages worth of electronics product going on sale. i hope everything is in stock or i'll never hear the end of it. it's kind of funny because gamers are the easiest to deal with. just give them a raincheck, and they're happy. everyone else wants the same product in the ad. It's for re-sale purposes, I think. A non-PC version has more re-sale value if you want to get rid of your copy.

Various sellers sell through Amazon.com. I'm not exactly sure why Office Depot sells games, but I've placed three orders with them, and each time, the item arrived within 48 hours, even though I selected standard 3-5 shipping; on one occasion, I even ordered late at night, and the item still arrived within 48 hours.

The displayed price of $16 in next week's Target ad is likely the sale price for that week, not the newly adjusted regular price. Wal-Mart will not have it listed in the $14-15 range; as with all PC titles, the price will be $19.xx.

I found mine this morning at the 3rd Target I called. I played around with a demo copy a while back. It's a fun golf game, worth picking up for the $20. The Mario-ness of it adds in even more fun.

Mario Golf is a great, great game. I don't like golf games, really, but the way Nintendo does it ... it's a classic. You'd be crazy to not pick this title up, or any of the new $20 titles.

Yeah, I found a Non-PC Mario Golf at the local EB and got it there instead of getting the PC labelled one at Best Buy w/$5 off. I guess I'm more of a collector than a cheapass :P
