This has been going on forever? But seeing as they've posted an end-date past the release it would seem we're not going to get a T2+10 deal.

Guelph has a midnight release! :) well its not just for NHL considering there are 4 or 5 big titles and 4 others.

Nhl's (2k and ea), MUA2, NFS, scribblenauts, wet, batman pc, and a couple other games!

im definitly going, my nephew wants to come with me but i dont think this lineup will be as long as WOW or halo 3/gta 4

Yeah, well before Madden came out, they had T2+$20 for Madden, Fifa, NHL, and maybe some other sports games.

The games need to have a trade-in value of $8 or higher to qualify for the promo. An excellent resource to get specific trade-in values is www.tivs.ca

Wow, so a game that is going to have little trade in value next year requires two games (NHL '10) but another game that might keep its TIV longer since it isn't a yearly iteration (Fight Night Round 4) required only one? Makes little sense to me unless you have 2 qualified games you don't mind discarding.

FNR4 was a special trade-offer, I don't think it can be used as a comparison.

It's a good offer only if you have credit on your EB games account that you got by trading games that had a very high TIV for what it's worth (example: trade back Prince of Persia for $18 about buying it with $10 credit at EB).

NHL10 will be worth $8+ till August next year.

I used Metal Gear Solid 4 ($10 at EB, after beating it), a $10 PSP game from HMV (Logan's Shadow) and $20 credit (more or less after trading Prince of Persia PS3 at $10 during Game Days, during summer after beating it), so the total cost was $20 EB credit + $10 (excluding tax).

It depends your source of cheap games. Each game gets bumped to $25 instead of $23.33!!! ;)

Picked mine up at the Kitchener midnight launch last night.. for some reason they were giving away free edge discount cards ($5 value) to everyone who bought something that night.

Same deal today -- I picked up my copy at 8am early opening on the way in to work. They the promotion applies today -- buy any full price ($69.99) game and get a free Edge card.

They also have another promotion on today -- buy two $14.99 games for $20.. nothing with 8+ TIV there, but I had been meaning to pick up the original skate + something else to play.

I went and did the GG for Dirt2 and got 69.99 on an Edge card (with the sticker). CSR said I have 10 % off accessories, pre-played games, etc....

Canada only, they are looking for games with TIV $8+ (no specific list, TIVs change every day), neksus maintains the site www.tivs.ca to make it easier to know tivs of games.
