I remember when MT. St. Helens blew up the last time. It was in the early 80's. I was a little kid back then but I remembered that from the news.

lol how dan rather on Cbs popped on the Tv he made it sound like it was going to blow any second, flipped on cnn now they said it could be mins or days or even weeks

I agree daphatty, CBS and Rather needs to get their stuff together. I remember CBS Sportsline ran a false story about Clinton Portis being out for 12 weeks just before Dan embarassed himself too.

Well, Wolf Blitzer is trying to maintain an aura of imminent fear and anxiety, which is not present so he looks like an asshole sitting there.

The station manager of KCTV, like his colleagues at many other CBS affiliates, is facing a flood of calls and e-mails from viewers angry at Dan Rather for relying on apparently fake documents to suggest President Bush (news - web sites)'s National Guard service record was less than stellar.
I'll leave it at that as this is not the appropriate place to discuss this. There should be plenty of topics about this on the political board.

He did a report on Bush and his National Guard duty. In the report he showed a couple of memos that were supposedly written by his commanding officer. Almost right away there was bunch of controversy that they memos were actually forged. CBS and Dan Rather, in particular, refused to say they could be fake. They finally had to admit it about a week later but at that point the damage had already been done and they looked incompetant.
