Also weird how he keeps his score private. It's 100% positive but for all we know it is only like a 1 or a 2. Some of those games just dont look right IMO

i found one guy at a local fea market selling like 3 cd cases worth of the same thing. shady ass characters but the games were real. selling brand new realeses for 10 a piece and had multiple copies. of course they wouldnt say where they got them. i bought a brand new game from them just came out for 10 and it plays fine and looks real.

One of his "friends" is probably missing a bunch of Xbox games.

I'm afraid those seem like bootlegs to me, I could be wrong though.

His feedback score is 11, it's just that the comments are private
now about the auction, maybe he just wants to save on shipping costs by not including the cases?

..or maybe he lost them or bought them that way, seeing as how they're all old and PH

He could ship the case for less than 2 dollars. Only way he'd save is if he sent it in an envelope with a 37 cent stamp. Not worth it.
They're more than likely stolen from a B&M, removed from the cases. I'm 99% sure this is the case. If he were smart, he could simply order new cases from somewhere like gamerecyclery.

he could be one of those a$$holes who steal the game cd out of the case, repackage them, and then return them to the store

don't ever buy stuff from someone who keeps his feedback private.

Quick question about gamerecyclery:
I'm one of those collection oriented bastards, and I have a couple games on GBA and X-Box that I picked up used without the manual and/or box. Are these manuals and boxes original or shitty photocopies?

I'd like to know, too. Heck, this would eliminate my affixation with non-PC GameCube titles (at least for the few replacement covers that they carry).

They're the real deal. I ordered the Paper Mario manual after I won a Paper Mario + box auction on eBay, and it was the original manual in mint condition. It was only $3.19 shipped.

Metroid Prime cover, here I come! I got one of those Target copies back in the day with the tacky "Coupon Book Inside!" emblem printed over the front. It drives me nuts. :P

Could they be promo copies?
I also got a couple manuals from gamerecyclers, and they were real and also mint.

Great! Thanks for the responses. And one more question... I bought one used X-Box game at Blockbuster, so the box is black. Do game inserts also come with cases? In any case, I'm gonna go buy like 15 bucks in manuals.

My guess is the seller tossed out the boxes and kept the games in a CD wallet to save space. They all look real to me; you can even see the holographic sticker around the hole on some of them.
As for hiding feedback comments, I'm going to guess he either bought/sold some porn, and didn't want other people seeing those items on his comments (since every comment now links to the auction). Or it could have been an engagement ring or some other present for someone, who knows?
