I'm thinking of getting a PS3 soon, how much better does the animation on these direct to DVD DC films look? I would think the color would be better, but watching the DVDs of the other I wonder how much better it would look other then that.
Public Enemies could very well be my first Blu Ray.

I watched Green Latern on Blu-ray and it looks great but honestly compared to the DVDs i been picking up for WB/DC collection it dont seem to be too much difference. If the sale for the best buy version is in deed going that cheap, i'll pick that up and probably sell the toy. Not much interested in it anyways and i could probably gain a few extra bucks :)

Who cares if it doesn't have Lossless audio...it's a freaking animated movie. You need to enjoy it because of it's voice acting and animation and story...and yea it's got Superman/Batman Vs EVERYONE ELSE!!!!!! :bouncy:

I would seriously suggest getting something like the 2-disc Casino Royale CE Blu-Ray for $13 from Amazon as your first BR. Or buy both so you can get FSSS.

I'm hoping for another WBShop deal, but I don't know how long I can hold off on purchasing this.

I liked Green Lantern better than Wonder Woman. Not too interested in this one since the reviews haven't been all that good.

Did you not read the review? IGN thinks it's second only to Wonder Woman. And it stays really close to the comics, which are great. It's too short though, the same as all direct-to-video animated DC and Marvel films of the last few years.

I really liked the Green Lantern movie. I already watched this one and thought it was really good as well. I'm not a huge Superman fan, but I am a Batman fan. Even though the movie was centered around Superman, it was pretty good. I might buy it just for the figure.

Any WBShop coupons? Their pre-order price is >$20, but you currently have to buy 2 BRD for free shipping...

Over at bestbuy.com, they dropped it to 21.99. Canceled my order with Amazon, even though i could care less about the figure. For 2 dollars i can get it now and just sell off the figure.
Well, actually it looks like you wont be able to pick it up at the store so its a online only deal. Shipping and handling will bring it up to 25 bucks, so its still not worth it.

The figure's nothing special, but at least it looks like Batman in this movie.
