Does Child's Play still have the annual "everyone starts fundraising" time?

I was wondering if there was still a time in the year where everyone starts donating towards Child's Play (even though they accept donations yearly), or if now it is just a "do it whenever you want" type of a thing.

I am planning to start an event locally in my community/campus to see if I can raise stuff for the local children's hospital.
