Go to Sam's Club, Costco, or BJ's, even if you don't have a membership. Remember what you see, and try to find a better deal. If you can beat their deals, you've found a winner. If not, join and buy.
If the doorman wants to see your membership, tell them you're thinking of joining and would like to check the place out.
There shouldn't be a 37" anywhere on the retail market today for more than $800. You can get a decent one for $600 now.

hows that?
You realize for the size TV you want unless you are connecting your computer, 1080P will be a waste of money.
