Just got the email, not sure when other retailers will do it. It's $200 in the US, but it never did get adjusted to $250.
With the new Arcades $230, the Wii is still the cheapest current-gen console in Canada.

Is it just me, or does $199.99 look 10x better than $219.99? Must be a mental thing. Good to see a price drop, though!

$199.99 is a proven psychological sweetspot for consumer products, so no it's not just you.

$219.99 - $5 or $10 coupon from Kellogg's (any Nintendo product) - $10 Bestbuy coupon ($10 off $50) from SPC (when you buy a SPC card online) could help to bring really close to that $199.99 mark.

Why can't Nintendo just charge the same amount to Canadians that Sony and Microsoft do for their consoles? It's just plain dumb. Once again, Nintendo shows us why they aren't popular among the people at serious video game sites. I guess too many Canadians, including myself twice, had no qualms with paying $280.

umm MICROSOFT charges a $30 Premium and Not ONE perso here bitches about that.
On the other hand, NINTENDO charges a $20 Premium and people go apeshit over it.
Arcade and Wii both go for $199 in the US
