Right now, Nintendo Power is a great magazine. It's better than it has been in many, many years. I was very disappointed when it went from in-house to FutureUS, but it definitely turned out for the better.

Right now, Nintendo Power is a great magazine. It's better than it has been in many, many years. I was very disappointed when it went from in-house to FutureUS, but it definitely turned out for the better.

Also, personally for me, there are usually tid-bits in articles that I like to read that you don't find online. I would say that for gaming info I watch videos and look at images online and leave the reading to the magazines or books.

I did a quick Google search before ordering to see if people have been able to extend their subscriptions in the past through Tanga's sales, and indeed they have been. Just make sure the information you give Tanga matches your magazine's mailing label exactly and you should be fine.

No they don't have one in every issue now.

Future did make a poster book with a total of 40 posters. But it wasn't for members, only on store shelves. I'm not sure if that is an annual thing or what.

But they now have "Subscription" Covers that remove most of the text from the cover so you can enjoy the artwork. Nothing big but a nice change.

Future done a great job taking over NP it's definitely worth owning. Great developer interview every month, no more bias reviews, and plenty of exclusive info (though it tends to get leaked before I get mine in the mail)

8/18/2009 is my order date for PSM. I can tell you that I finally started receiving my NP from 7/14 since the last issue with Avatar on the cover. I actually received the previous issue on the same day as well, but magazine subscriptions tend to start this way judging from previous experience.
