$19.99 through Steam isn't too bad, but is there anything better? I see that Amazon.com has a $9.99 boxed version and a few store websites seem to list it at that price too. Can you actually still find the game alone in stores or only the Orange Box variant? On the whole I'm just curious if there's any good TF2 deals, thanks in advance.

For the amount of content you get, and the amount of free updates you get, $9.99 is an amazing deal. Trust me, if you pay $9.99 for it, or even $19.99 it's a great deal.
The boxed version just gives you the install media so you don't download from steam, other then that they are the same.

I'd love to pay $9.99 for it but I was hoping to find out if you could still find it in stores (to save on shipping). I'm gonna go check a few tomorrow, what sucks is I think I might have even seen it at Big Lots and passed it up (it seems like I've seen that box in the wild fairly recently).

Though even if you do install it from the disk you'll still have a good amount of data to download since Valve has released a lot of content since they put out the retail version of TF2.

If you really want to save, id wait til valve has another sale on it. They usually drop it to 9.99 for weekends every once in a while.

I've seen the PC version of The Orange Box for $9.99 at GameCrazy, so my money would be on that.

I play it, it's really fun.
I personally like to play on MicSpam servers, because people play music a lot and it really helps to enjoy the game a bit more. I usually play on 4chan, Weeabootique, and trying to get into Touhou Fortress.
